Free shipping at Kohls

Okay, technically you have to get your order up to $75 to get free shipping at Kohls right now, but their normal shipping costs are… erm… interesting… (I love you, Kohls! Don’t break up with me!) and so I like the free over $75 thing very much. Don’t forget that you can return items to the store, if need be, to save return shipping costs.

Also, through October 8th, 2007, Kohls cardholders can save an additional 15% with coupon code KCTAKE15. If you have a Kohls card you also got a mailer from them with a code, one that might be more than the one I provided here. I’m not allowed to post any of the bigger coupons, but maybe you got lucky with a 20% or 30% code. (I only got 15% in mine. Hmph.)

If you need that certain toy

Many of you have emailed this one in (thank you!), and I have hesitated to post it because I don’t feel like it’s that exciting of a deal, per se. On the other hand, if you’re in the market for one of this season’s new or sometimes hard-to-find toys, this may be the deal for you.

Through October 8th, you can take 25% off your order and get free shipping at The Hasbro Shop with coupon code 25FALL.

They even have those monstrous Furreal Ponies that give me nightmares, just in case you have a couple hundred bucks burning a hole in your pocket. Enjoy.

Just a little popcorn reminder

Folks ’round here seem to love this stuff so much, even after I’ve posted about it I get a couple of emails a week saying “Hey, did you see that it’s free popcorn time??”

Yep, it’s free popcorn time at Dale & Thomas. So in case you missed it the last time I post, here it is again: For a limited time, you can get two bags of their gourmet popcorn for just the cost of shipping (which is around $6).

For those of you who’ve mentioned that you haven’t gotten your gift card from this deal yet, I suspect it’s because they’ll wait ’til the free popcorn offer has passed to send them out. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of popcorn to go around.

Two free games from Big Fish

Oooooh I love this one: Go here and when you input your information, they’ll email you links to free downloads, plus unlock codes to get two full-feature versions of those games for free.

Five choices for PC users, three choices for Mac users. Choose two to keep for free. And free is good!

They send these at lunchtime on purpose

Why do these codes always land in my inbox when I am eating something I cobbled together in the kitchen as quickly as possible, something glamorous and gourmet like peanut butter and jelly on bread heels?

Hmph.

Okay, get ready to dine out: Hop on over to Restaurant.com and through October 7th you can use coupon code DISCOVER to take 50% off your certificate order. Not only does that mean you can get $25 worth of dining for just $5, many of the participating restaurants offer only a limited number of certificates each month, which means you need to snap them up now—at the beginning of the month—before they’re all gone. So go! Buy! Eat out for less!

More games for the kids

I know I just posted about some other games specials, but can you ever have too many games? No, you cannot. Unless you’re talking about Pretty Pretty Princess jewelry being strewn all over your house, and then, maybe, your eye will start to twitch a little, but… ahem. Nevermind.

Anyway, there’s also a games deal going on over at Amazon. Pick any two qualifying Hasbro games and get Monopoly Here & Now for free. Plenty of the games are on sale already, and they all qualify for free Super Saver Shipping on $25+.

(As an aside: Who knew there were so many different versions of Monopoly??)

The whole planet for less

The recently-released Planet Earth series from the Discovery Channel has been touted as one of the must-see works of the decade. And I don’t know about you, but even when this sort of thing is educational (it is!) I have trouble ponying up $80 for DVDs.

Well, here’s some good news: The Discovery Store just slashed the price down to $59.95, plus you can use coupon code COM10 for an additional $10 off your $50+ order, plus if you pay via Paypal they’ll take off another $10. Shipping is only $3.25.

That’s the whole series—5 DVDs—for about $43. Not too bad.

Free shipping at Liz Claiborne

Today only (that’s Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007) you can ship anything and everything free from Liz Claiborne.

I am seriously coveting that dress on the splash page. Too bad free shipping isn’t enough to make me spend $148 on it. Off to the Clearance section with me….

Ship your suit for free

Now through October 6th, 2007, you can ship any size order from Jos. A. Bank for free! Their $199 suit sale is still going on, so if for some reason you haven’t yet discovered the awesomeness that is Bank’s menswear, now’s the time.

If you have a local Jos. A. Bank, also keep in mind (I think this is chain-wide) that they will press your suit for free, forever. That’s a useful perk if the suit-wearer does a lot of traveling and tends to end up with wrinkles more often than the thing needs to be dry cleaned. (My husband is laughing at me right now. Because the last time he wore a suit was at our wedding. But, darn it, that suit came from Jos. A. Bank!)
