Ship your beauty order for free
There’s not a whole lot I’ll buy from Macy’s when it’s not on sale, but then there are things like cosmetics and fragrance that are pretty much always the same price no matter what. Now through May 20th, receive free shipping on your $50+ order of qualifying beauty or fragrance purchase. Use coupon code BEAUTYFS.
Not a screaming deal or anything, but a nice little perk if you were planning to place or order (or fight the crowd at the mall), anyway.
Eat, save, and be merry
Maybe you hopped on this deal when I posted it last week, but if not, they’re basically extending the latest offer, though now with a different code. Through May 20th, save 50% on your purchases at Restaurant.com and receive a free $15 De La Flowers gift certificate by using coupon code RAINBOW. That’s $15 worth of flowers and $25 worth of dining for just $5.
All of which is making this turkey sandwich I just fixed myself look pretty lame.
A little motivation to get through the day
Guess what today is! Go on, guess!
If you guessed that it’s New Flavor Day at Haagen-Dazs, you’re right! Get your free scoop of either cinnamon dulce de leche or sticky toffee pudding at your local H-G shop tonight between 4:00 – 8:00.
And any day that involves free ice cream is a Very Good Day, indeed.
Need a rug?
There’s a slew of area rugs on sale at Amazon today, many of them up to 80% off. Not all of them have free shipping (and shipping can be killer on something as heavy as a nice rug), but many of them do. Just pay attention while you’re browsing.
This is the sort of sale where I sit on my hands and whine because I don’t know where we’re moving yet and maybe I need a rug or two but I can’t buy anything yet and it’s making me crazy. But please, don’t let that impede your enjoyment. No. You just go shop, and don’t worry about me. Over here. Homeless and rugless.
All children should come with warning labels, anyway
Anyone who has a small child with severe food allergies knows the temptation to wrap said kid up in yellow hazard tape or otherwise clearly label him in such a way that no one gives in to the temptation to offer Junior a cookie that might kill him. (This sound completely foreign to you? Count your blessings.) My son used to have a life-threatening peanut allergy, and in the days when he was basically pre-verbal, taking him anywhere there might be food was always nerve-wracking.
Fortunately, AllerGators understands that desire to label your kids, and they’ve found a way to do it that’s so cute and fun, your kids will want to wear their gear all the time.
Even better, this week (through May 19th), AllerGators is donating 100% of their profits to The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network in honor of Food Allergy Awareness Week. It’s great gear, and this week it’s for a great cause.
(Thanks, Angela!)
Ooooooooooh
Hey, remember how I told you a while back about how Endless.com was doing this introductory special thingie with free overnight shipping and $5 off? Yeah. Well, they sort of forgot to end the introductory period. It’s still going on!
And there’s still tons of stuff in the sale area. Were there handbags there before? I don’t remember. I feel faint.
Must. Look away. From the sale shoes.
Quilts on the cheap
Today, May 14th, the Deal of the Day at Linens N’ Things is a variety of Sunham and Co. quilts. They’re marked down to just $9.99 for any size (even king) and because they’re the deal of the day, they ship for free!
Sweeten the deal: Use coupon code 166600000007 for 20% off a single item, and get one for just $8. Not too shabby.
Extending the Mother’s Day love
Had your eye on something at Classic Closeouts? You’ve got until May 16th (that’s a couple of days, yet!) to place your order and get free shipping on any size order by using coupon code HPPYMOM. It’s a Mom’s Day thing, but it’s still going on, and it’s not like they’re going to card you at the door to check your mothering status.
Hey, the entry page features hip women’s wear and also refill razor cartridges. They’ve got it all. Or something.
Plan ahead, get cheaper tickets
Going to a Six Flags amusement park this summer? Why not pick up your one-day admission tickets for half off?
(Or, if you’re me, why not stay home with your feet on the ground and have some snacks instead of being turned upside-down on a scary ride? But to each her own.)
My favorite part is the recommended age range
If you have a gorgeous, pristine household where your furniture doubles as artwork, it’s possible that even the arrival of a baby will not cause you to think that plastic is fantastic. And who says that children must herald the arrival of large plastic objects into a household, anyway? (Me? I said that? Um… ignore all the large plastic items behind me. I have no idea where those came from.)
No, you’re a more refined sort. That’s why you’ll want something like this highchair for your darling, because it’s not just functional, it’s really cool looking.
Good thing it’s on sale with free Super Saver Shipping today, too. That leaves you more money for the Emergency Room copay after you get yourself wedged in there and can’t get out.
