Dress like you paid a ton more

One of my favorite brands to come across at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s is Jones New York, because I love their stuff (but definitely not their full retail prices). Today’s the day to stock up on new dresses if you love ’em, though, because they’re having a huge dress sale online.

Prices start at just $29, plus if you buy 3, you’ll get an additional 30% off. Buy 4+ and you’ll get an additional 40% off! Shipping is a flat $5 or free on $99+, and—to top it all off—you can also you coupon code JNYEM1 for another $20 off $100+, on top of everything else.

You could refresh your wardrobe with designer duds for under $100, if you do it right. Not bad at all.

Spring redecorating?

If you’re sprucing up a bit around the house, it’s a great time to look over at Home Decorators Collection—right now they’re offering an additional 25% off and free shipping (arguably the even better perk, when you’re talking about things like furniture) on all Outlet items.

Longtime readers know I adore HDC for all things home goods; probably half my home furnishings came from there, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. With a sale like this there’s always some great bargains to be had on quality items.

Stock up at Macy’s

The sales and clearance over at Macy’s today are worth checking out, plus you can save even more—take an extra 20% off any size order with coupon code TICKET and an extra 25% off orders of $100+ with code SALE25. (Some exclusions apply, like their sales never seem to extend to things like watches, and Home items are only 15% off.)

Shipping is automatically free on $99+, and remember that you can always return items to your local Macy’s for free, if needed. It definitely beats combing through the racks… I hear they frown on folks hitting the mall in their bathrobes, sipping at their coffee while they shop….

Save even more on refurbs

In the market for a deal on something electronic? You can always find a great deal over at Cowboom if you don’t mind a refurbished unit or open box… and right now you can use coupon code MOOYA to take an additional 10% off your purchase, too. It should work on anything pre-owned or open box, other than the daily deal.

They have everything from tablets and computers to pre-owned coffeemakers. (Uhhh… not sure I’d go that latter route, personally, but I’m just saying they have a wide array of options.) With an extra 10% savings, you could really clean up.

Bump up your Subscribe & Save savings

It’s that time of month when I look for a few little things to order from Amazon, to make sure I’m saving the maximum on my Subscribe & Save orders. (Getting to 5+ items/month is usually not a problem, but every now and then I find myself looking for something cheap to add.)

Right now Amazon has this 8-load Method Laundry Detergent Pump available for $2.99, which isn’t bad for a highly-rated detergent, but not great, either. However, there’s an additional 20% off coupon to clip, and if you’re saving the full 20% with 5+ subscriptions and Amazon Mom, your total is just $1.79/delivered, or about $.22 per load of laundry.

And yes, it’s kind of a ridiculous little bottle, but hey—good for travel, good for an oops-I-forgot-to-buy-detergent emergency, good for a care package for the kid at college… I trust you’ll figure out what to do with it.

If you love Whole Foods…

… the store, that is, not just eating entire foods (though, hey, I personally am a fan of both), then you’re definitely not going to want to miss this: In honor of Groupon’s new and improved search bar, they’re offering a $10 Groupon to Whole Foods to users who search for it, for just $5.

Sure, it’s only a $5 savings, and at Whole Paycheck Foods that’s… like… one apple, but still. Every penny counts. Grab this one before it’s gone.

A very good day for kids’ clothes

If you haven’t been to Children’s Place in a while, today’s an excellent day to shop—today (Tuesday, February 25th) only, they’re offering 40% off everything with coupon code SAVING3. Free shipping is available on $75+, though the free shipping code I posted earlier has since been pulled. (Sorry if you missed out!)

40% off and free shipping? Definitely time to clean up in the clearance section, if not to go ahead and get whatever you need for spring.

Shave away, shave away, shave away….

I know that a lot of people have strong feelings about razors—electric vs. traditional, three or four blades vs. two—but personally, I have pretty much one requirement: I like my razors to be cheap. (Surprise!) Well, okay, cheap but not junky. A pivoting head is nice. Other than that, I have gone through a variety of non-disposable razors in an attempt to find one I liked enough to continue buying expensive replacement heads for, and it hasn’t happened. Cheap disposables, please, so that I can throw them away when the handle starts getting mildewy in the shower.

I’m digging this deal: Amazon has a 30-pack of Gillette Customplus Regular Disposable Razors available right now for $16.97 with a clippable $5 coupon. $11.97 for 30 is just under $.40/razor—already a great deal—but when I purchase it via Subscribe & Save and get my maximum additional 20% discount thanks to Amazon Mom, it’s just $8.58 shipped (about $.29/razor).

Maybe these aren’t the latest/greatest/fanciest, but the reviews are excellent, and while 30 razors seems like a lot, it’s not like they go bad, or anything.

Got socks?

It’s baaaaaaa-aaaaaack: One of my favorite deals at Tanga is back in their daily deals, today—get a 12-pack of men’s argyle or “fancy print” dress socks for just $16.99 and free shipping.

Perfect for the guy whose sock drawer needs a complete overhaul, or just grab it and hang on to the stash for stocking stuffers. Either way. Socks are one of those things I never can understand how sometimes the prices are, like, more than I routinely pay for pants. At this price, it’s easy to justify.

Very mixed feelings, indeed

Okay, so, longtime readers know that there’s generally a free shipping and/or sale promo at Urban Outfitters sometime in late November or early December, and I always preface it by saying that UA actually makes me sort of itchy and I think their clothing is ridiculous, but I like them because they sell great little stocking-stuffer type things. I end up buying something there nearly every year, because where else am I going to get my zombie band-aids and snow in a can at a decent price? Exactly.

Still. Overall, I find most of their apparel horrifying, and I’ve never spent more than about $10 there at once. So when I saw this morning that they’re offering $20 off a $100+ purchase (plus free shipping), I thought, “Hmmm, well, that would be a lot of band-aids…” and I almost didn’t post it.

But then I went and looked in their “Apartment” section and I have to admit that I am reminded that I really, really dig many of their duvet covers. Who knew? (I didn’t!) Duvet covers are notoriously over-priced in general, but I am seriously considering one with the extra $20 off. Even though I thought I would never really shop here! Decisions, decisions….
