One day to stock up on the healthy stuff

Can you believe it’s nearly October? That seems… crazy. I seem to have lost several months somewhere along the way.

But hey, GNC wants to make today (September 25th) a special day—shop the site today only and you can use coupon code SEPT25 to take 25% off your purchase, plus shipping on all orders is currently absolutely free. (Note that Hot Buys and Gold Card Discounts are excluded from the coupon, but it works on everything else.)

I am looking for the “fix my entire life” supplement right now, but I may have to settle for some Evening Primrose Oil. Hmph.

Keep your iPhone dry

I’ve often joked that I would swim more often if I could listen to music while I do it. Har har! But of course it turns out that you actually can rig up your phone so that you can swim and listen to tunes. I had no idea! (And of course this would be good for other water sports, or running in the rain, or whatever, I suppose.)

Today at Tanga one of their feature deals is a waterproof iPhone/smartphone kit—case and headphones, as well as a variety of straps—that allows you to listen to your tunes no matter how wet the conditions. Tanga’s price is $15 plus shipping (buy up to three for a $5 shipping cost), whereas a quick comparison at Amazon shows their price to be twice that.

Will this setup turn me into Missy Franklin? Probably not, but it’s pretty cool, regardless.

Girly or not, they’ve got it all

It’s been a while since I posted a deal at 6pm.com, because I’m trying to be good, you know. Despite my standard answer of “All of them” to my husband’s oft-asked “How many pairs of shoes do you need?” there are occasionally times when I try to control myself.

But today at 6pm they have deals on both Frye and Betsey Johnson—motorcycle boots, and girly flowered things. Yin and yang. It’s a sign, right? A sign I should at least window shop…?

Hey, maybe I can knock out a little holiday shopping while I’m at it.

A little something for your Saturday night

It will only work tonight, but if you’ve had your eye on something at NOVICA, it’s your lucky night—you can apply coupon code peace2012 for $10 off your $10+ order.

What a great excuse to buy yourself something pretty!

Half-price Dysons

I still have no idea if the Dyson vacuum cleaners are actually made of unicorn fur or what, but there seem to be plenty of people willing to pay $500+ for whatever they are. Me, I feel like for that kind of money, it should also come with a swarthy young fellow named Alonzo who will vacuum my entire house and feed me grapes.

Anyway, today Woot has a refurbished Dyson DC25 Ball vacuum today for just $250, and at that price point I can see doing my own vacuuming. I suppose.

Though I still wouldn’t mind someone feeding me grapes.

More Fun for your Family

If you love Family Fun magazine—and why wouldn’t you, when it’s chock-full of both great articles for you and plenty of DIY projects for the kids?—hop on over to Tanga today to scoop up a subscription. Get up to three years for just $3.99/year! (It’s showing up that price for me, automatically. If you’re seeing it higher than that, add it to your cart and apply coupon code FAMILY to drop the price.)

(Of course, there was the year I used a Family Fun set of directions to make an “easy” Halloween costume for my kid… and it took nine hours of sewing and three trips to the craft store… but I don’t like to talk about that.)

Cheap glasses just went BOGO

Remember back when I ordered a bunch of glasses from Zenni Optical just to see if it was true that cheap glasses from the Internet would really be decent? And I concluded that they were?

Well, the deals just got even better, because right now Zenni is offering a BOGO deal—spend at least $12.95 on a pair of glasses, and you can get a second pair of equal or lesser value for free. I have no idea how they can afford to do this. I’m sort of picturing a Wonka-esque factory staffed by Oompa-Loompas, frankly, but whatever. If you need some cheap back-up glasses or have a kid (or two) who need spares, this is your deal.

One caveat: They do ship very slowly, so this isn’t the deal for you if you’re in a hurry; but when you’re talking about paying $7 for a complete pair of glasses, really, it’s hard to complain.

It’s the Final Fall Sale, B’Gosh

If you’re looking to round out your little one’s fall wardrobe, get on over to Osh Kosh B’Gosh today—they’re having a huge sale with prices up to 70% off.

Make it even better: Coupon code OKBGCART will give you free shipping on your entire order, and if you spend $40+ on non-clearance items, coupon code CCO20OFF takes an additional 20% off.

I’m only a little bitter that they only go up to size 12. Hmph.

All of these things are not like the others

Remember back when the Target Daily Deals were, you know, themed? There would be four related things each day? Yeah, me neither. It’s been kind of a mish-mash lately, but today definitely takes the cake—instead of just four items, there’s an entire page of unrelated markdowns, all with free shipping.

I’m not complaining, mind you. I’ll take the sale prices, even if I have no idea how they came up with this product grouping.

So! There’s lots of choices today, but my two picks for best deals are the Spa Sonic Face and Body Polisher kit for $35 (for comparison: Amazon has the standard kit—two pieces less than the one Target has—for $54) and the gDiapers Everyday gs for $56 (for comparison: Amazon has the same 6-diaper bundle for $76).

Necessary caveats: The Spa Sonic is a knock-off of the Clarisonic, and if you check the reviews on Amazon, people either think it’s great or think you should save your money for the real deal. I don’t have any experience with it, personally, so I guess it depends on your general philosophy. Likewise, I never cloth-diapered so I have no experience with the gDiapers. Again, people seem to love or hate them.

And finally: if you can figure out how the Daily Deal items today go together, I will mail you a pony.

Kohls a day early this week

Why wait until Wednesday? There’s plenty of Kohls deals to shop today, plus there’s a new crop of coupons.

Everyone gets free shipping on orders of $50+, automatically, and everyone earns $10 of Kohls Cash for every $50 spent. If you’re spending $100+, everyone can use coupon code SHOP2WIN for 20% off, too.

But if you’re the kind of smartypants who has a Kohls card, of course the deals are even better: Use coupon code STYLE30 for an additional 30% off and code LUV2BMVC for free shipping on any size order (handy if you’re only buying one or two things).

I know we joke about how everything is always on sale at Kohls—and it’s mostly true—but the crop of Bonus Buys this time around is actually pretty good, particularly when you combine the prices with additional coupons. Erm, not that I’m shopping again. Much.
