Mmmmmm… bacony

I’ll confess that—in general—Wine.Woot is my least favorite Woot. I mean, I have nothing against wine, but you know. Technology and toy deals are more my forte.

Anyway, I take it all back today, Wine.Woot, because today they have a pair of Skillet Bacon Jams for sale. (Remember when I review Skillet Bacon Jam? I’m still bitter it was such a small container they sent me.) They’re 32% off, but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen it on sale before, so that’s me 32% closer to melty, bacony goodness.

Only buy this stuff if you like bacon. Or if you need a really mean gift for a vegetarian.

We’ll be back to school before you know it

Okay, maybe back-to-school isn’t all that close, but I’m not going to let that stop me from stocking up on my kids’ favorite “squishy sauce” (hmmm, that doesn’t sound all that appetizing, come to think of it). Right now Amazon has the 48-pack GoGo squeeZ Appleberry on sale for $21 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save, and I may just pick up a box and tuck it away for when school starts up again.

Me, I’m always saying “Why can’t I just pack you an apple?” and my namby-pamby kids are all “Because this is much lazier and also more delicious.” Hmph.

Getting my 11:00 fix

While I was away on our trip I eschewed all 11:00 boutiques (because we were often off sightseeing or otherwise having family time), and that was fine.

I’m lying. It was not fine. I had the shakes by the second day. No fantastic sales? No thrill of the chase?? It was horrible. (Not the trip. Just missing my favorites.)

This morning I sighed happily as I loaded up Fab.com, Rue La La, and One Kings Lane. Much better. And I even finally took the plunge over at Fab—they have a Waring appliances boutique today, and I used some credit to buy myself a food dehydrator, finally.

Yes, I know it’s sad that this is what passes for excitement in my life. Hush.

Two words: rocket car

If you check out the sale section at The Mattel Shop right now, you’ll see an entire bevy of marked-down toys, of course. The one that caught my eye is near the bottom of the page if you “view all,” and that’s the Hot Wheels Rocket Car Science Kit. It’s marked down to just $6.50 from $25! (For comparison: The cheapest option on it at Amazon is nearly $19.) Mattel has fuel refill kits for it as well, at just $2.50. Could be a good one for the gift closet.

Choose a coupon to make it even better: Spend $25+ and you can get free shipping with code WHEELSFAN25. Or take 10% off any order with code SPRING1.

I suspect my kids are a little too old for this one. Maybe for my husband…?

Scary move night? Covered!

Oh my, have you peeked inside the Amazon Gold Box today? Hello Alien anthology on Blu-ray for just $30 shipped! That’s Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection; all the scary alien-popping-out-of-someone’s-torso action you could possibly want.

I’m not ashamed to tell you I love these movies with a fervor that borders on unnatural. I saw the first one when I was a teen and have been hooked ever since. Sigourney Weaver was my idol for a looooong time. (Or maybe it was Ripley, her character. I’m not sure.)

Anyway, I’d say $30 for 4 Blu-rays is pretty awesome, anyway, and the fact that these movies will likely scare you out of your seat is kind of like a free bonus.

Get your makeup bonus here

You already know that e.l.f. is the place to scoop up makeup on the cheap, but today you can choose your bonus to make your purchase an even better deal!

It’s your choice; use coupon code SHIP25 for free shipping on your $25+ order, or use coupon code 83PIECE with your $25+ order to snag their 83-piece makeup essentials kit for just $3.50. Either way, you’re getting an instant makeup collection refresh for not a lot of money.

And if you’re like me—by which I mean you regularly find, oh, say, mascara from before your teenager was born hiding in the back of the drawer—this is the perfect opportunity to toss the old, yucky stuff and start over.

Look Ma, no cavities

It’s been a while since we saw a really killer deal as part of the Target Daily Deals, but their feature deal today does not disappoint: You can scoop up a combo pack of the Oral-B Professional Care 1000 rechargeable toothbrush along with 10 Crest 3D Whitestrips and coupons for just $35 shipped.

For comparison, the toothbrush alone at Amazon will run you $60. I’d say this bundle is pretty sweet.

[Edited to add: There’s also an available $10 rebate! Final cost to you is now just $25.]

All your accessories in one place

A couple of times a year, ZAGG has a great big sale. Put down the barbecue for a minute and check it out if you need screen protectors, headphones, cases, or other tech accessories—right now nearly everything is half off! What isn’t half off is 20% off, and if you spend $29.98+, your order will ship for free, too.

I love their Invisible Shields. There’s no better screen protection out there. And I especially like them at half price.

Happy Memorial Day at Bealls

I am still readjusting to Eastern time (in case you’re wondering, the exact right length of time to step into the Pacific time zone such that you never really adjust during your vacation but are completely tired and confused when you get home is… one week!) (you’re welcome!), but I did finally drag myself out of bed. And a good thing, too, because I hear there’s going to be some sales today.

Let’s start with Bealls, where just about everything is on sale for Memorial Day, plus you’ll get automatic free shipping on your $75+ order, plus coupon code SWIMFUN takes $10 off your $25+ order.

I don’t find the selection at Bealls online to be all that vast, but when they have a coupon like this, I can usually find something I need.

Eddie does up Memorial Day

If you want to start off your Memorial Day weekend with some deals over at Eddie Bauer, I think you’ll be pleased with the prices. There are markdowns galore, and if you spend $49+ you can use coupon code AZURE for free shipping on your entire order.

I feel like I should insert my obligatory comment about my favorite Eddie Bauer pants here, but maybe I’ve become too predictable that way. Perhaps it’s time to praise their shirts, instead. Or just stop talking.
