Oh, baby baby

In the market for baby clothes? As part of today’s Daily Deals at Target, all clearance baby clothes and shoes are an extra 10% off and have free shipping, today only.

It could be a great way to stock up, without having to actually walk into Target. That saves money, because I don’t know about you, but every time I walk into the physical store, I seem to end up with a new kitchen gadget and a year’s supply of paper towels.

Eddie’s got special savings just for you

You know how I’m tight with my bud Eddie, right? Eddie Bauer? He’s my man. I mean, my other man. My husband is awesome and all, but he doesn’t make pants I really love. Just sayin’.

Anyway, right now Eddie Bauer has an additional 30% off clearance going on, which is pretty sweet in and of itself. But even better, you can use coupon code EBTWENTY for 20% off your order and free shipping on $99+, and that will work on top of the automatic savings on clearance items. (This is kind of huge, as clearance is usually excluded from these offers.) The coupon code will work through Monday, but stuff is selling out, so get on over there if you’re interested.

Pretty awesome, right? That’s just the sort of thing Eddie does for me. He’s swell.

Everyone loves shaved ice!

If I were a nice mom, I’d go ahead and pick up this Hamilton Beach Icy Treats Ice Shaver at Amazon, because it’s currently just $20.85, its lowest price ever. And what kid doesn’t love making their own shaved ice?

It would be perfect for making margaritas letting the kids create their own icy treats in the summer. And then using for margaritas for the adults. Why, I think maybe the Easter Bunny will drop this off at our house. Because he likes margaritas, too.

What?

Just $29 for the 29th

Here’s another Leap Day sale for you—6pm.com has an entire section of $29 boots and outerwear, today only. I can’t believe I almost missed it.

(Actually, I can believe I almost missed it. Noticed that posting has been lagging and sporadic the last few days? I’m sorry, I still love you, but I love my kid who’s back in the hospital a little bit more. Please bear with me, again.)

20% off and free shipping on cute kids!

Er, on cute kids’ clothing. I’m still looking for a place where you can buy cute kids, but that appears to be illegal or something.

To celebrate leap day, Children’s Place is offering free shipping on every order today, automatically. In addition, you can apply coupon code R4G2012 for an extra 20% off, too.

Need more justification? Well, how often do you get to score a great deal on February 29th, hmmmm? Exactly.

Do your pancakes smile?

I can’t help it—it’s been a really rough few months ’round here, and when I saw today’s Home.Woot offering of a Nordic Ware smiley face pancake pan, I may have chuckled a little. Oh to have my children small and easily amused, again. There was a time when smiley pancakes would’ve been enough.

If they’re enough for your kids, you can get the pan for just $20 shipped. Amazon doesn’t have that particular model, but they do have the same thing with a bug pattern, instead, and that’ll run you $34. So the price seems right, for sure.

Got $5?

Today the daily deals over at Graveyard Mall are an assortment of $5 items that all have free shipping. 600 post-it note flags for just $5 shipped? That’s, like, a lifetime supply! Or at least a week of entertainment for the children. Whatever.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what’s included, but who cares? At $5 a pop, maybe there’s something you need.

Get ready for Spring

I know that, theoretically, it seems like preparing for Spring should be easy this year, seeing as how we never actually had Winter. (I shouldn’t say that out loud. I just doomed us all to a month of blizzards in March. Sorry.) Regardless, now’s the time to start thinking about what you’ll want to be doing when the seasons officially turn.

If you check out today’s Big Steals at Meijer, you’ll see that they have a Black & Decker 20″ electric hedge trimmer for just $39.99 with free shipping. The same trimmers are $57 at Amazon, so if that’s the model you want, today’s a great day to get it.

Not that I know anything about trimming hedges. My husband doesn’t think it’s funny when I say, “Aren’t they supposed to be all big and wild-looking?”, but I think I’m hilarious.

Almond butter on the run

I was just telling someone the other day about how Justin’s Nut Butters makes these squeeze packs that are perfect for hits of protein on the run (assuming you and yours are good with nuts), and so today I went looking for them on Amazon and ended up pretty much going, “Whoa, those are pricy. Nevermind.”

But then I found this: A 24-pack of Barney Butter Almond Butter for just $8.32 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save. I… think it might be a price mistake, frankly.

But portable hits of high-protein and “good” fats for under $.35/each? I’m buying two.

Eating out is deliciously frugal

It’s been a while since I posted a Restaurant.com deal, possibly because I bought a ton of certificates last time and just used them up recently. But the end of the month is usually a good time to buy because there’s a good coupon, so let’s get to it! Today you can scoop up dining certificates for 80% off when you use coupon code MEMORIES—that means you can score $25 worth of eating out for just $2 out-of-pocket.

As always, check back if you haven’t been there in a while, because new restaurants are added all the time; also, read the fine print, because some restaurants have day-of-week or other restrictions. Know what you’re buying, in other words. But if you can find a place you like and the rules work for you, it’s a great way to save $23.
