Calling all Gleeks: get your karaoke on
If you have a Wii and a Glee fan, check out Karaoke Revolution Glee at Amazon right now—they’ve got the microphone bundle marked down to just $14.99, which is about half what they’re charging for the software alone!
My daughter says, “That’s all season 1 music. There were no Warblers in season 1.” So apparently it doesn’t meet her strict (Blaine-fueled) standards, but maybe you’ll feel differently.
Still need a Nintendo 3DS?
Black Friday is winding down, but there’s still a few more deals out there. Did you happen to check out the Black Friday deals at Overstock.com today? They still have the black Nintendo 3DS for just $150—11% less than Amazon’s current price.
Just sayin’.
Crayola Color Wonder Magic Lightbrush deal
My kids are too old for this now, but even they see the commercials on television and act mesmerized (how do they do that?)—right now Amazon has the new Color Wonder Magic Lightbrush Kit with metallic paper for just $15.26 with free Prime shipping. That’s about half what it’s going for everywhere else.
[Edited to add: There’s also an available $3 rebate you can get, too.]
I remember when Color Wonder was just markers that didn’t write on the walls. You know, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Black Friday at Coldwater Creek
Are you all shopped out, yet? I’m fast approaching the 12-hour mark, and I’m not going to lie—I may need some more pie. But I’m still here.
Today at Coldwater Creek, they’re offering Buy 1 item, Get the 2nd half price, automatically. There’s also coupon code 40THANKS for 40% off and free shipping, but I don’t think the two can be combined. The coupon is obviously the better deal, though.
Works in the Outlet, where I was able to pick up a few gifts on the cheap.
Maybe not for Christmas
I most certainly was not shopping for underwear on Black Friday; naturally I was only looking for very exciting gift-like things and nothing so embarrassing as cotton panties. But if I just happened to run across this 12-pack of Fruit of the Loom Girls Cotton Hipsters for just $8.16 with free Prime shipping, well, I’d be dumb not to buy them, right?
I mean, for someone else’s kid. Not mine. Because that would be mortifying if I announced that on the Internet.
$10 off your Plum District vouchers
You already know that Plum District offers discount vouchers for plenty of the places you like to shop, but for Black Friday they’re making it even better (of course); today only, use coupon code enjoy10 for $10 off any purchase.
That means you can get $50 to Ecomom for $15. Or $40 to Craft Kids Playhouses for $10. Or any of their other deals, for $10 off the already discounted price.
And the best part is: You buy the voucher today, and have an excuse to keep shopping next week.
MP3 credit at Amazon; get some tunes
Here’s a little freebie for you to enjoy while you’re doing your shopping—right now you can get a $2 Amazon MP3 credit with code STUDYBRK. Just go enter the code here and then it’ll be in your account when you buy your music, later.
Code is valid through November 28th, 2011, so you have to use it within the next few days, but hey, I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly not going to turn down a couple of free bucks.
(Thanks, Laura!)
Bullseye marks the deals
I honestly have no idea how it’s gotten to be halfway through the day and I haven’t yet pointed you at Target‘s Black Friday deals. Because they have lots of them, obviously.
Use my link up there and you’ll automatically get $7 off your $70+ order, too. Lots of items qualify for free shipping when you spend $50+ (and you get free shipping all the time when you use your Red Card). [Edited to add: Looks like the discount doesn’t work on electronics. Boo.]
Alternatively, you could go to Target today…. (Haha! Just a little online-shopping humor, there.)
Plasma cars, anyone?
Hmmm… I see that in fine Amazon tradition, as soon as I post a great deal on something, the price changes. Let’s see how quickly I can get them to change the price on this:
Right now Amazon has all five colors of plasma cars available for just $42 shipped apiece. That’s their lowest price ever, and I promise these will bring your kids (and maybe even you) years of fun.
We just gave ours away about a month ago (my “baby” is almost 12). Hey, they hold up to 220 pounds apiece; it’s possible I rode them even more often than the kids did, but I am admitting to nothing.
Hexbug Nano Habitat for the bug-lovers
Honestly, I don’t quite know why Hexbugs are so popular, because the only thing that scares me more than bugs is the idea that they could become robotic and take over the world. But they haven’t taken over the world… not yet, anyway… and the kids seem to love ’em.
Ahem. Where was I? Oh! Right! So Amazon currently has the Hexbug Nano Habitat Set for just $11.99, Prime shipping eligible, and not only is that the lowest price it’s ever been, it’s rated something like 4.5 stars.
But I still find it creepy. Just so we’re clear.
