That’s Frahnken-SHTEEN
I posted this one back in June, but it’s back at an even lower price. And I love Mel Brooks.
Yes, Amazon has the Mel Brooks collection on Blu-ray for just $43 shipped, and that includes nine classic, whacky Mel Brooks flicks, all just as zany as the first time you saw them.
That’s just $4.78/movie! And I was just thinking the other day that it’s about time I introduced my kids to the splendor that is Young Frankenstein. Heh.
My favorite kind of Last Call
Oh, Last Call. How you draw me into your spider’s web of discounts and make me feel all pretty, like I can actually afford pretty, shiny things from Neiman Marcus.
Today and tomorrow are the days to shop, people. There’s an additional 30% coming off of everything for Columbus Day, but today and tomorrow there’s another 15% coming off on top of that! Wrap it all up with coupon code FSANN3 for free shipping and you’re looking like a million bucks, without actually spending a million bucks.
Yo ho ho, a pirate’s life for everyone
This one is just cracking me up. I’m imagining hordes of little toddler pirates, and it’s possible I’ve had a wee bit too much coffee….
So here’s the deal: Right now Little Tikes has a bunch of toddler-sized pirate costumes marked down to just a buck (or two for two bucks, or a dozen for twelve, etc.). Now, there’s no way around paying shipping, so this only works out to be an awesome deal if you want a bunch of ’em.
But… how cool would that be for a Pirate Party, huh? So cool. Because, again: hordes of toddler pirates! Avast, ye scurvy fruit snacks! I’ve come to plunder yer goldfish crackers! And so on. It’s genius, I tell you.
The wipes are back — extend your Prime!
Looking for something you need to buy anyway that’ll extend your Amazon Mom subscription? The Huggies Fragrance-Free Natural Care Wipes are back at a great price. Buy via Subscribe & Save—coupled with your Amazon Mom automatic discount—and you’ll get eight packages for $12 delivered. Buy two, and you’ll get another month of free Prime membership.
You were probably going to buy wipes anyway, so you may as well really clean up with ’em….
Get a leg up on Lego
If you’ll be shopping for Lego this holiday season, you might want to start… this week. Right now you’ll notice that the lead sale at Toys ‘R’ Us is 30% off select Lego sets—which is as low as some of the new ones will go this season—but it turns out that Amazon is price-matching most of those deals.
Hey, buy from TRU if that works for you. But for most of us, we’ll save tax (and get quicker shipping) direct from Amazon. So. Your choice!
Just a few of the deals’ direct links at Amazon….
Ninjago Skull Truck for $42
Space Center for $49
Castle King’s Carriage Ambush for $28
Worth a look, for sure. I think I’m going to have to start installing Lego bins on the ceiling pretty soon, though….
It’s your lucky day!
Today (Tuesday, October 4th) only, take 20% off your order at Piperlime with coupon code LUCK! Some brand exclusions apply, and it doesn’t work on Final Sale items, but it does work on regular sale stuff.
Free shipping and free returns, as well as loads of cute stuff. But you knew that.
You always aggravate the ones you love
I’ve been considering getting my teenager a new alarm clock. Actually, I’m considering getting her one of those wheeled alarm clocks that runs away, forcing you to chase it to turn it off.
Because I care. Ahem.
Well, it looks like you can grab a Clocky at Sellout.Woot for $25 shipped, today, which is a significant savings over the $40-$45 price it runs at Amazon and elsewhere. Then the question is simply: Is it worth $25 just to be mean to your kid?
(I plead the 5th on my answer.)
Sure, I’ll get ready for Fall
The heat kicked on in my house last night for the first time in forever. That meant we got to enjoy the sacred ritual of the “Is something burning? I think I smell something burning!” conversation we have every Fall. Good times.
Meanwhile, over at 6pm.com, their lead deal is up to 80% off to “get ready for Fall” on designers like Michael Kors and Max and Cleo. I spy some awesome clothing there at ridiculously low prices. And there’s plenty of other specials going on, too, but I just happen to have a weakness for Max and Cleo.
And getting to buy cute new clothes for Fall always helps me forget that weird burning smell….
48 hours to save big
Got an itch to shop the Gap family of stores? Here, let me scratch that for you: Today and tomorrow, shop Gap, Old Navy, or Banana Republic and you can use coupon code 48HOURS to save 30% on your order!
Now, some exclusions do apply—you can read the list on the site, and I remain amused that kids’ sleepwear is excluded because oh noes, we can’t let people save on jammies!—but aside from the exclusions it does work on everything, even sale prices. Play it right and you could save big.
But it’s only for two days, so don’t wait.
Hopefully this isn’t an omen
I feel a little bad starting out the week with toilet paper. But here we are.
Right now Amazon has a 18-pack of Angel Soft bath tissue double rolls available for just $7.53 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save.
The price is excellent; the weird thing is that a lot of the reviews are negative. This is the brand I routinely buy for my family, and I strongly suspect all the negative comments are from people who buy super-duper-plush Charmin and such. I… am not quite sure what all of those people are doing with their TP that they’re having a problem with it. Nor do I want to think about it. So.
