Stock your medicine cabinet

If you’ve been meaning to make a trip to your local drugstore to stock up on the basics, I may be able to save you a trip: Today only, shop drugstore.com through this link and you’ve save an extra 10% on your order, plus orders of $25+ ship for free.

Drugstore.com carries way more than medicine cabinet essentials, of course. (The thing I buy from them most often is Cloud Star dog treats, and they happen to be on sale right now. My pooch loves them, and it delights me that they’re shaped like tiny gingerbread men.) (Yes, I am easily amused.)

Hey, buy whatever you want! Just save yourself some money.

Get more tunes, cheap

Been spending a lot of quality time with iTunes lately? Hey, I understand. There’s music and apps you want so that you can properly ignore your children. (Oh, wait. My bad! That’s just me!) Or maybe you’ve discovered that the teen(s) in your life only speaks iTunes. I feel you. Right now you can get iTunes gift cards at Best Buy for 15% off. All of ’em! No matter what you buy, you’re saving 15%.

They ship for free, too.

If you haven’t started your holiday shopping, this might be a good (stocking stuffer) place to start….

Saturday deals

Goooood morning! We’re moving a little bit slowly over here; we stayed up late last night watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We are party animals!

Let’s see what the weekend holds for us, bargain-wise.

It’s a great time to stock up at Bath and Body Works—right now they’re offering Buy 3, Get 3 Free on their signature collection, plus you can use coupon code SHOP30 to take $10 off your $30+ order! (Coupon is good this weekend only.) Time to restock the gift closet!

This weekend at Children’s Place you can take 20% off any order with coupon code SAVE20. Just in case you missed the last eleventy million sales there.

Absolutely everything is on sale at Lee Jeans this weekend—up to 50% off—and all orders are shipping for free, no coupon necessary.

Sure,m the killer cold weather is over… for now. Be ready for next winter with this deal from Amazon: Get a 2-pack of Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream for $10.32 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save and apply coupon code NEUTROSR for an additional 15% off. I used to use this stuff when the New England winters would literally cause my hands to dry out so badly, the skin over my knuckles would crack. This is my go-to solution for really dry skin.

Right now all swim is 40% off at Delias, with plenty of other sales happening, too. Make your teen happy, and make yourself happy with free shipping on any order, no minimum, with coupon code SUMMER.

That should keep you busy for a while.

All hail Friday

This felt like kind of a long week, which I realize is doubly silly because Monday was a holiday. I can’t explain it. I can only look for deals to soothe my weary soul, or something. (It’s hard to be poetic this early in the morning.)

The Amazon Friday Sale continues to be mostly coffee. I keep hoping they’ll stop doing that. (But, hey, if you own a Keurig, Friday’s totally your day.) If you have a toddler, check out the Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts in mixed berry, peach, and strawberry—each case of 8 packages is marked down to $21, but when you combine buying via Subscribe & Save with coupon code GERBR434, they come to $14.70 shipped, or about $1.84/package.

Don’t forget to check out Amazon’s new crop of $5 MP3 albums for June—it’s a great way to pump up your music collection without spending a lot of money.

Also—in case you missed it last time, or are now thinking “Hey, that’d be great for Father’s Day—National Geographic is still just $15 at Amazon for a year’s subscription.

Elsewhere! Did you know it’s time to redeem your Kohls Cash at Kohls? Thank goodness they’re having a sale! (Heh.) Right now shipping is just $.99/item, and everyone can use coupon code SAVE15JUNE for an additional 15% off.

Are pillow pets still a… thing? (We missed this craze, because my kids are older.) If they are, you might want to check out today’s Kids.Woot, because they’ve got ’em for just $10 plus $5 shipping (though the shipping will stay the same even if you buy multiples). My understanding is that this is quite a bit cheaper than the regular overinflated price.

Need shoes for the kids? It’s BOGO time at Payless, where when you buy one, the second is half price. Combine that with 20% off coupon code 47028 for some smokin’ deals while you’re stocking up. Shipping to your local store is free.

I’m off to search for coffee. Too bad the Amazon Friday Sale doesn’t come to my house and make it for me, huh?

Once again, no actual babies for sale

They keep getting my hopes up, these stores. “Biggest baby sale ever!” they say, and I go looking for a nice big baby, because they’re the cutest and who doesn’t want one on sale?? But then it just turns out to be baby clothes.

So disappointing. But probably just as well, as I’m rather attached to sleeping all night long.

Anyway, if you want some adorable baby clothes up to 70% off, go check out the current baby sale at Carter’s. No actual babies, but plenty of adorable stuff to dress ’em in if you already have a baby. (Shipping is a flat $6 per order.) Spend $40+ and you can apply coupon code SOCUTE for an additional 20% off, too.

Still. False advertising, man.

Neato (cheapo) Keen

I can’t help noticing that 6pm.com has Keen shoes in the spotlight today, up to 75% off.

Just in time for summer! It’s not summer until everyone has ugly (yet oddly comfortable) sandals, you know.

Get 2 great Wii games for $20

Looking for some ways to keep your Wii busy this summer? Check out this buy 1, get 1 free game promotion at Amazon—choose any two of the offered four games and your second one is free. They’re all part of the “Nintendo Selects” series, and all priced at $19.99 before the promotion.

I can tell you that my kids play Animal Crossing: City Folk endlessly. I’m not sure what the allure is, but it definitely gets plenty of play here.

Of course, if you don’t need any games, it still might be a good deal to scoop up for the gift closet. $10/game is hard to beat.

Woot that stroller

I have to confess that it’s been a very long time since I was in the market for a stroller, so bear that in mind. Nevertheless, I’m thinking that today’s Kids.Woot offering of a Kiddy Sport-n-Move Stroller for $145 shipped is a pretty good deal, seeing as how the next lowest price I can find for it is $242 shipped from Amazon.

It’s not a lightweight stroller, for sure, but the reviews are excellent and the price is certainly right. And it beats carrying around the dead weight of a sleeping toddler (or being battered by a cranky toddler), I’m guessing.
