Does anyone know what time it is?

As per usual, the time change is kicking my behind. Why? I don’t know. I changed the clocks just like I was supposed to, but we have a wall clock waaaaaaay up high in our family room which requires a ladder to get to, and my husband is out of town and I don’t do ladders, so I managed to forget it was wrong and stay up an extra hour last night by mistake. Oops.

Anyway, while I re-combobulate myself (that’s the opposite of discombobulate, right?), two shoe deals for you: First, 6pm.com has a very fetching array of deals today, including up to 70% off Naturalizers. Nice. And second, the Target Daily Deals have both boots and sandals (March! So confusing!!), as well as a cute little wristlet I’m kind of digging.

Friday flew the coop

I guess that technically it’s not Friday itself that flew the coop, but one of my kids. Gone on a school trip! Without a parent! Hold me. It’s a little early for chocolate, so shopping shall have to appease me until later.

Kids today! So spoiled! They think they should have top-of-the-line everything, and we’re absolutely no help because most often we give it to them.

I don’t know if I’m getting old or what (don’t answer that), but lately I’m having a harder time finding stuff I like at Gap. On the other hand, my kids are finding more and more they like, there, so they still have me in their clutches. Excuse me while I shake a fist at the sky.

Oh, well. Good thing that for the next few days I can use coupon code GAP2080 for $20 off my $80+ order (and orders of $50+ ship for free); it means someone ends up happy, and I don’t have to pay too much.

I know that buying tampons is neither entertaining nor glamorous, but sometimes we can at least make it a little bit cheaper, right? Right.

This month Amazon has a $2 off Tampax Pearl coupon in your coupon book. It used to be you had to just keep refreshing to find the coupon you wanted, but now they helpfully place relevant coupons on the product pages, and you only have to click “Clip this coupon” to get it. Handy!

And ladies, I’m begging you, here: Do not buy scented tampons. Ever.
