Last night I baked umpty-million scones. It’s a long story, involving my daughter’s need to bring a treat to school today and my inability to do math. I get several magazines, and I like having them, because sometimes my attention span isn’t long enough for a book, and sometimes the kids want to make collages. On the other hand, I never pay more than a couple of bucks for a year’s worth of magazines, because, hello, I’m cheap. And when I pay next to nothing I don’t have to feel guilty if I never get around to reading them (which is what happens, more often than not).
