There’s a yuppie joke in here somewhere

Now through May 7th, 2007, you can take 20% off your total order at Eddie Bauer using coupon code BEST. Coupon will only work in the main EB store, not in the outlet.

Using such a code makes me channel Stuart Smalley: I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it, I deserve those Born Hawkeye lace-ups! (Psssst! If you see sale shoes you like over at Eddie Bauer, don’t forget that if Zappos carries the same size and color, you can price match and have the ease of free shipping and free returns.)

Get vitamins, get supplements. . . get healthy

How do I love GNC? Let me count the ways. Ah, well, maybe later, because it would tale a while and thus interfere with giving you the deals they’re currently offering. But the answer to “how much do I love GNC?” is “great big heaping bunches,” in case you’re wondering.

So if you’re needing vitamins or fish oil or face scrub (seriously, they carry more than you probably think of), now’s the time to go stock up. (Looks like a fair number of items in clearance are buy 2, get 1 free, too.)

Choose from free shipping on your $25+ order (through that there link) or free shipping plus 10% off on your $75+ order (again, through the link there). Have a Gold Card? Don’t forget that you can save 20% the first week of every month with your card.

These promos are valid through June 28th, 2007. So you’ve got plenty of time to figure out whether it’s spirulina or glucosamine you should be taking.

At least the kids won’t be hungry

Beautiful, alert reader Jean read my mind. I was just coming here to post and she mailed me at the same time. It’s fate!

Fate wants you to go to Pizza Hut and get a free slice between 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. today! Happy May 1st, or happy “tell us you like our pizza best” day, or something.

It just so happens that my house is being shown at 4:00 today, because that is totally convenient on a weekday when you have two children. Hahaha. *twitch* I guess now I know what we’ll go do while we’re out of the house. Pizza for everyone!

Crazy 8s and more

There’s all manner of sale offers at eToys this week, including the “Crazy 8s” section where everything ending in 88 is on sale (some of it is half off). If you’re in the market for toys, go browse around a bit.

I don’t recommend doing that when your kids are around, though. Because they’ll surely spot something they need. Just a friendly warning.

Finally, I hit the bullseye

Free Shipping on $50 in Women's 100x100So, remember how I was lamenting the fact that Target kept turning me down for their affiliate program? It turns out that they were doing some restructuring, and now they’re all, um, restructured, and they realized that I have a deep and abiding love for all things Tarjay deep in my heart, and now I’m a bright and shiny new affiliate.

This fills me with more joy than is perhaps normal.

Anyway, Target is one of the few stores I enjoy shopping in person (I know, what a concept!) because I just never know when I’m going to find something I didn’t know I needed but is now 90% off. But I shop them online, too, and right now you can get free shipping on $50 worth of Women’s clothing, shoes or accessories. Just in case you’re interested.

C’mon, get Happy

I like this one because it combines my two favorite things—a freebie and charity for a great cause—all in one easy step.

Go create an e-card for a friend on the Clinique site. (If you don’t have any friends, send it to yourself. And then get off the computer and go make some friends.) Doing this will get you a printable coupon for a free purse-sized Clinique Happy (which is a lovely, light/clean scent if you’re not familiar with it). You do have to take the coupon into an actual store to redeem it, but still, not a bad freebie.

In addition, for every card that gets sent, Clinique will donate a dollar to Big Brothers Big Sisters. They don’t just smell pretty, they are pretty.

What are you waiting for? Go get Happy!

I’ll take the Optimum Zen, thanks

Happy May, everyone! You know what this means, right? A whole new batch of grocery deals from Amazon. Here’s the one I’m grooving on this morning:

Buy $29+ worth of Nature’s Path items and take $10 off your order with coupon code NATPATI5.

You’ll find their cereals and granola bars are already discounted, plus they have empowering names like Optimum Zen so that you can really take your relationship with food to the next level. See? Those granola heads always told you they knew the secret to inner peace. And now you can get it on sale!

Handsome duds for handsome dudes

If you didn’t stock up on everything your favorite well- dressed man needs the last time there was a big sale at Jos A. Bank, now would be a good time to go check them out. Cashmere sweaters for just $77! Lots of other fancy, expensive stuff for just-as-fancy but less-expensive prices!

Pretty. Smelly.

(That’s totally different than “pretty smelly,” by the way.)

Lovely Rebecca points out that today is the very last day for this deal: Buy at least five Signature Items from Bath & Body Works (they’re already on sale) and you can use coupon code LUXURY10 for an additional $10 off, plus you get free shipping (EDIT: you need to order $30 worth, so 7 items for the free shipping) because they calculate that before discounts. The result is five yummy, smelly things which are normally $10.50 each for just $25 (+ tax), shipped.

She also points out that many scents are sold out, but you can exchange in-store if you’re motivated. (Me, I don’t care. They have White Tea and Ginger body wash, which is my current favorite scent. Yum!)
