How about a little lingerie?
Hello! I have not forsaken you, my darlings. Comcast and I are having a bit of a difference of opinion, today. My opinion is that I should continue to have the internet service for which I pay a pound of flesh even if it’s raining out, and their opinion is that I should spend half an hour on hold to get a technician appointment for a week from today and like it.
You can see how today is going just swimmingly for me, so far.
Anyway! Check this out: Maidenform is having big Spring sale, and you can get free shipping with your $25+ purchase, besides. Not a bad deal if you’re in the market for some delicates.
If you like this one, please be my friend
If you order a specially-marked Easter item from Harry and David today (April 2nd, 2007), you’ll get a free upgrade to express shipping.
It’s not much of a deal, seeing as how most of the Harry and David offerings are pretty expensive, but it’s a nice little perk if you were thinking of ordering, anyway. Look for items marked with the “Free Express Upgrade” box in red.
And then order something for me, too, because we’re so close and you can obviously afford it.
Soup on a cold, rainy day
Today it’s overcast and chilly and drizzly, here. It’s just the sort of day where I’m likely to throw a huge pot of soup on the stove. It’ll cook all day, make the house smell amazing, and be a little slice of heaven at dinnertime. (Well, for me, anyway. The kids will probably complain that they wanted something else.)
Not everyone works from home, though, and of course not everyone likes to cook, either. That doesn’t mean you can’t have amazing soup. Right now at Amazon, 12-packs of Wolfgang Puck soups are $31.20 with free shipping. Not such a great deal, right? But, use coupon code WOLFGAN9 to take $15 off, and now you’ve got delicious, gourmet organic or all-natural soups for just $1.35 a can.
Plus, you don’t even have to lug ’em home through the rain.

It’s also time for the Footlocker Friends and Family Sale! Take 30% off your entire purchase using coupon code LKS1FF73. These savings are available only through April 1st, 2007, so hurry up.
Never been quite so glad for Friday
As we come to the end of what’s been the longest week of my life in recent history, I’ve never been quite so delighted to see the Amazon Friday Sale alive and well. Woo! It gives us something lovely to end the week on, and hopefully by Monday I will feel like a real boy, er, living human, again.
I have it on good authority that this caramel pirate booty is not only healthier than caramel corn, it’s safe for orthodontic-wearing children to whom you’re afraid to feed anything even slightly sticky. (I’m torn; that’s such a great price, but I ordered a case of Terra Chips yesterday and how many snacks can I cram into my pantry, really?)
They have a nice laptop backpack on sale.
Is it possible that anyone who reads Want Not doesn’t have one of these chef’s skillets yet?
It’s a blender! It’s a food processor! No, wait—it’s both!
Holy crow, that’s a nice price on an awesome set of pots.
I can tell I’m starting to feel better, because I perked right up when I saw this: Scooba!
Free shipping at LL Bean
Had your eye on something at Bean? Now through April 8th, 2007, get it shipped for free by using coupon code 5250187.
There’s lots on sale, including their indestructible backpacks. Why, my children are probably using theirs as kickballs on the playground right now as I’m writing this.
Just a few days left to get your snacks
I know I posted this one before, but it expires March 31st and a bunch of the Terra chips have just come back in stock (or are showing as “in stock soon” and orderable) so it bears repeating: Get $39+ worth of Terra, Little Bear, and Garden of Eatin’ snacks and take $15 off your order with coupon code SNACK233.
If you order Terra chips (my personal favorite, you know, when I can actually taste anything) they come out to about $2/bag, which is about half what my grocery store sells ’em for.
