Cinco de Mayo for the pets!
I absolutely hate that these promos always seem to exclude food—because what do I spend the most money on for my dogs? Food!—but today at Petco they’re taking 25% off plenty of stuff, automatically, plus giving you free shipping on $49+.
If you need other stuff for your pet, this could be a useful sale. If it isn’t, well, go back to celebrating today with tacos, the way God intended.
Wooo, let’s celebrate May with free shipping!
Today only (May 1st, 2014), you can ship absolutely anything at all from Tanga with coupon code TANGASHIP. A bunch of their daily deals come with free shipping, but this will let you buy anything today and skip the shipping.
Time to get me some glow-in-the-dark duct tape, obviously! (What? It’s cheap, and without the shipping cost it’s a great deal….)
Pssst, you could win some Amazon $$
Hey, do you have a few minutes to fill out an informational survey for Savings.com? They’ll use the information you provide to make their site better, which in turn helps me to make this site better, because I work with them.
Just click right here to do the survey, and then don’t forget to include your email address—three lucky respondents will be randomly selected to win $50 gift cards to Amazon. Sweet, right? Go do it now before you forget! (And let me know if you win!)
Time to thrill your teens!
I find that I do not understand a lot of the clothing over at Tilly’s; where, for example, are the bottom halves of most of their girls’ shirts? But my teenagers assure me that their stuff is cool. (Or that I’m uncool. One of those.)
Anyway, they’re having a huge clearance sale right now, with an automatic additional 70% coming off of off most clearance prices when you place an item in your cart. In addition, you can ship any order for free with coupon code FREESHIPME.
Sizes are limited (no good shoes left for my youngest, as he is still in very small men’s sizes, for example), but if you can find stuff you want, the prices are definitely right, and your kids will love you.
Must… resist… truffles….
Um, I’m certainly not buying any truffles, because if I do, surely I will eat them all. I’m a pig like that. But maybe you need to make some teacher appreciation gifts for the end of the year, or something?
Right now Amazon has these 60-count boxes of Lindt truffles on deep discount… get chocolate caramel for as little as $7.40, white chocolate for as little as $8.68, or white chocolate stracciatella for as little as $8.95 when you order via Subscribe & Save and have enough items for the additional discount.
Enjoy. I’ll just be over here eating baby carrots. And crying a little.
Well that’s an adorable (and free) speaker!
This is probably a mistake, but I was just able to order one, so we’ll see….
Amazon has these GOgroove Groove Pal Kid-Friendly Animal Speakers available right now for $14.99. But if you apply coupon code SAVEPALS it’ll deduct… $14.99! So it’s free, so long as you have Prime shipping.
There’s six different styles from which to choose. I assume there’s a decent risk of orders being canceled, but who knows? Worth a shot.
Save big, ship it for free
We haven’t had a big Children’s Place deal in a while, but that ends today—for one day only, order whatever you like, and use coupon code SAVE3 for 40% off everything (even the stuff that’s already on sale). To top it off, every order ships for free, automatically.
Still bitter about my kids outgrowing their sizes, by the way. I need a Children’s Place for teens. Teen’s Place? (That sounds sort of like a Planned Parenthood kind of thing rather than a place to get cheap shorts… never mind….)
Ice cream season is upon us
I just found out that our local strawberry farm is open. This is good news for my stomach, but bad news for my wallet.
Once we’ve gone picking a few times, then it becomes a festival of strawberry everything, including strawberry ice cream and strawberry sorbet. Fortunately, I have this lovely Cuisinart ICE-30BC 2-quart ice cream maker to make it all very easy, and I love it. Unfortunately, that machine retails for $80. But today’s your lucky day—Home.Woot has refurbs today for just $39.99. If you’re in the market for an awesome automatic ice cream machine, this is a great unit and a fantastic price.
Even if you don’t like strawberry. (Is that possible? Do people not like strawberry…?)
Griddle me this
So it’s a good day to shop over at Kohls just in general; everyone gets $10 Kohls Cash for every $50 spent, everyone can use coupon code LOWEST20 for an additional 20% off, and Kohls charge card holders can use code SEEDS for 25% off. And every order of $75+ ships for free.
But on top of that, today only they have a bunch of Door Busters, and that includes $9.99 small kitchen electrics—there’s a $10 rebate available on the $19.99 price, plus you can use a coupon to pay even less. Some of the appliances aren’t that thrilling, but they have the Presto Cool Touch 20″ griddle and that’s got fantastic reviews and the price is certainly right (for reference: still $35 at Amazon with fabulous reviews). I own this griddle, myself, and use it all the time. I’m pretty sure I paid more than $10, too.
Shave it off, sonny
I would like to hereby place my vote for the abolishment of all “ironic” facial hair. It’s not hipster, it’s weird. Stop.
Here, let me help: Right now Amazon has this Panasonic ES-SL41-S Arc 3 Wet Dry Mens Electric Razor available for just $39.99—its lowest price ever—plus there’s a $10 coupon to clip on the product page, making it a cool $30.
If you check out the model comparison chart you’ll see that this is a mid-range model, and the last of their Ni-MH line before moving up to Li-Ion, so it’s not the latest-greatest-fanciest by any means, but for $30, it’s a pretty nice shaver.
