Go redeem your Kohls cash today!

I don’t know if this was an accident or not, but usually when there’s a crop of good Kohls coupons going on, they expire before it’s time to redeem the Kohls Cash you earn while using them. (Did you follow that? It made sense in my head, though I’d admit it was kind of an awkward sentence.) But today (March 13th) you can start redeeming your Kohls Cash from the most recent earning period, plus the coupons will work until tomorrow. Score!

As a reminder, if you have a Kohls charge card, you can use coupon code SHOPNSAVE for an additional 30% off your purchase, and code WESHIPFREE for free shipping on any size order. If you don’t have a Kohls charge, code RMN15OFF will take 15% off your $100+ purchase, and everyone gets free shipping on $75+.

The only bad news here is that I am always sort of disappointed that they deduct the Kohls Cash before calculating the coupon savings. It makes sense, but I always feel a little pang.

Nostalgia, for under $10

Everyone know that the Easy Bake Oven is just a big plastic box with a lightbulb inside of it. That does not, somehow, take away from the excitement of making a tiny cake. But if you really want to make your little baker happy—plus have something you can play with, yourself, without anyone thinking anything of it—hop on over to Best Buy today and snag a discounted Nostalgia Electrics kit. For some reason, they’ve got these all marked down to just $9.99 with free shipping, which is less than half of what they usually go for. And instead of the plastic hunk with a lightbulb, you can go for wee little donuts or cake balls or snacks on a stick or tiny cupcakes or little pretzels!

It’s possible I’m a little too excited about this. I’m okay with that.

These will sell out quickly, but if you’re in the market for miniature baking, this is definitely the price to beat.

Stock-up price on K-cups

Looking to stock up on K-cups for your Keurig? Get on over to Amazon before they change the price—they’ve got 80 San Francisco Bay Breakfast Blend K-Cups available for just $27.50 (that’s only $.34/cup!), and the price drops from there if you utilize Subscribe & Save, too. (Save 5%, or save 15% if you have 5+ S&S items in a single month.)

The reviews put it at 4.5 stars with over 500 folks weighing in, so it probably makes a decent cuppa. And you certainly can’t beat the price! Looks like there’s a “get a free Kind Bar” bonus offer available, too, if you buy it outright rather than using Subscribe & Save.

[Edited to add: Same deal available on the Fog Chaser K-cups, which looks to be a bolder roast. Thanks, Susan!]

Huge deals on plus-size clearance

It’s a one-day clearance extravaganza over at Catherines—just use coupon code CLEARANCECA today only (Tuesday, March 12th, 2013) to take an additional 80% off already-reduced clearance merchandise!

This is your opportunity to really clean up at a fraction of regular retail prices. Save on shipping by shipping to your local store for pick-up, too, if you like.

I spy some cute accessories which are size-free, too. Hmmm….

Get Kinect-ed with Disney

If you have an XBox Kinect and are looking to find cheap, family-friendly games, be sure to check out the bonus deals over at Best Buy’s Deal of the Day today—they’ve got Kinect Disneyland Adventures for just $6.99 with free shipping.

For reference: It’s currently $12.93 at Amazon, with largely favorable reviews. This probably isn’t the very greatest Kinect game out there, but at $7, it may be worth trying.

Here comes Peter Cottontail… with chocolate!

If you’re looking for something quick and easy—yet adorable and delicious—for someone for Easter, you could do a lot worse than Ghirardelli. I mean, a lot worse. And while I’m not normally big on stuffed animals, I’ll tell you that one year a dear friend sent my children some chocolate with Ghirardelli teddy bears, and those bears were not only adorable, they’ve held up over the years and appear to be very well made.

That said, in today’s Target Daily Deals you can snag a Ghirardelli Cottontail Bunny w/ Assorted Chocolate Squares for just $25. (For reference: the same bunny/chocolate combo is currently $50 at Amazon, and just a similar-size bag of mixed chocolates is currently $25 at Amazon.)

Don’t forget that Daily Deals ship for free, and I don’t know about you, but the last few deals I snagged from them arrived within 2-3 days. Now. Who can I possibly give one of those adorable bunnies to…?

Spring cleaning time!

You know what my favorite part of cleaning out closets and giving clothing away is? The politically correct answer, of course, would be something like, “Knowing that in some small way we might be helping out the less fortunate.” But the real answer (oh, okay, I’m also glad our donations may help others) is, “Having the room and excuse to do some more shopping.”

(I’m a terrible person. I’m aware.)

Right now 6pm.com is having a Spring Cleaning Sale, with tons of items under new markdowns. Sort by category or by price; there’s nearly a thousand items in the “under $25” category alone! This isn’t the crummy stuff no one wants, either… I’m seeing Keen and other top brands at huge discounts.

Boy, I’m glad I did a bunch of cleaning this weekend….

Spruce up your office

If you’ve been waiting to make a home office purchase—maybe your tax refund just came in?—now would be an excellent time to shop at Office Depot. They’re running a seating event (with big savings on desk chairs), plus there’s tons of desks and filing cabinets on sale, too.

No home office? Don’t forget they sell “breakroom essentials” (beverages and snacks for a crowd!), as well as cases of things like paper towels.

Spend $50+ and they’ll ship it to you for free, usually within two days. And don’t forget that you can always add some pens or tape or what have you to your order to either get to the free shipping limit or up to where you need to be for a coupon.

Coupons work on everything except technology, and here you go:
Take $10 off $50+ with code 1SPX84RW6B3AT7.
Take $25 off $125+ with code 1P8DYWXVQR300D.
Take $40 off $200+ with code 1GHB8B6MPFY00X.

Your daylight savings antidote

Good morning! Did you have a little trouble rolling out of bed this morning? I know I did. You wouldn’t think one lousy hour would make a difference, and yet….

Here’s an idea if you’re having trouble getting up in the morning: The Philips Hf3470 Wake-Up Light gradually brightens, sort of like the sun, to give you a gentler wake-up and hopefully trick your brain into feeling like you absolutely should be awake. And currently it’s marked at $75 with an available $10 coupon (making it just $65), when the next lowest price I’m seeing is $100.

Whether you need one of these or not, though, I have to say that the video on the page is definitely worth a watch. Because the folks at Philips were so sure their lamp simulated the sun, they installed one in a chicken coop to see if they could fool a rooster. Maybe it’s just me, but that absolutely brightened my morning!

Coleman means camping

If you plan to do some camping this year—hard to picture on these freezing mornings, I know, but it will be spring eventually—you might be interested in this promotion at Amazon: They’re offering $20 off your $100 purchase of qualifying Coleman gear, with over 200 different products available as part of the promotion.

Personally, my kind of camping involves sleeping inside a hard-sided box on a real bed (yeah, I’m aware that’s not really camping…), but if you’re a tent camper, check out this Coleman Montana 8 tent; it’ll come to just $90 delivered after the discount. It’s so fancy, the door swings rather than zips. Hee.

Anyway, there’s lots of options, and then you can go out into the wild and be eaten by mosquitoes. Fun!
