Print it, (laser) print it good
Been looking for a color laser printer at a reasonable price? I, personally, think about finding one every time I have to buy ink for my inkjet printer. Ahem. Check out this deal at Office Depot: Today only, they have the HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw wireless Color Printer for just $130 shipped.
Apply coupon code 56253114 for another $10 off, and get it for $120. That’s $110 off, even before you save all that money on ink.
Not bad for a Monday!
Dreaming of the beach
I know it’s a little early to be imagining those sweltering summer days, for many of you, but they’ll be here before you know it. If your towels have seen better days and you’d rather not bring a faded, frayed specimen to the pool or beach, check out today’s Target Daily Deals; they’ve got three different adorable beach towels for just $10 shipped, today.
I picked up one of their towels on a daily deal about a month ago, and it’s a nice one. I have thoughtfully decided to claim it as my own so that the kids don’t fight over it, even.
Saturday deals
Have you noticed how, the last few Fridays, I’m all “I’ll be back later!” and then I never come back? I take yoga on Fridays. Which is apparently the signal to the rest of the universe that everything else should implode while I’m trying to find my zen. So I trundle off to yoga and then spend the rest of the day putting out fires. Not funny, universe.
But today is a new day. And that means new deals, right? Right!
I don’t normally suggest a combo grinder/brewer for your coffee (if one part breaks, you have to send the whole thing in for repair, and then you’re coffeeless!), but today’s Amazon Gold Box holds the 12-cup Cuisinart Grind-n-Brew for just $60. At that price, I’m willing to revise my usual stance.
Mother’s Day weekend seems like the wrong time to be buying clothes for your kids, but I understand that it happens (a mother’s work is never done, after all). If you’re shopping Children’s Place this weekend, use coupon code MOM2011 for 20% off any purchase. There’s plenty of summer stuff on sale; and shipping is a flat $5, or free on orders of $75+ for a limited time.
Get your Disney on this weekend and you can get free shipping with coupon code THOR when you buy any Marvel item. They’ve got personalized beach towels for $10 and duffel bags on sale and all kinds of good stuff. Search on marvel iron man to find some cheap Marvel items—I see figurines starting at $3.99.
I’m kind of loving this wall decals Groupon today—$20 gets you $50 to spend on a quick and easy way to make your walls look fancy, easily. Of course, if you’re doing serious renovations? Check out this Groupon for glass tiles to Glass Tile Oasis; $50 off could make that cool backsplash a little more affordable.
Through May 10th, 2011, shop at LittleMissMatched and you can use coupon code TENOFF40 for—what else?—$10 off your $40+ order. That’s a lot of crazy socks. (Well, it could be. They sell everything from socks to bedding, though, so go nuts.)
It appears that all of yesterday’s “Fitness Friday” deals at 6pm.com are still good, plus they’ve added some other stuff, like up to 70% off Keens. Nice.
Go forth and save, people.
Friday, Friday, Friday
I have that terrible Rebecca Black song stuck in my head (which I am not linking to here; you’re welcome!) today. Ack. Maybe I can chase it away with some deals.
Do you see how I keep stalking the Amazon Friday Sale even though it continues to be 90% coffee, week after week? Hope springs eternal, with me. Especially when it comes to Amazon. And today they have a few Ito En tea gift sets, like this budding jasmine set that contains a teapot and cups and everything, and for some reason is eligible for Subscribe & Save, which means it’ll only cost you $16.15. That would be a lovely gift for a tea lover.
It’s Fitness Friday over at 6pm.com, which means deep discounts on both shoes and other gear, for those of you who like to run around and get sweaty. (That… sounded a little lewder than I meant it to.)
I’m just going to be totally stereotypical here and suggest this as a potential Father’s Day gift, even though the only two people I know who brew their own beer both happen to be female: Right now there’s a $64 Groupon for a home brewing kit worth twice that—perfect for anyone who wants to get started making beer at home.
If yesterday’s Kindle suggestions didn’t do it for you, maybe this will: Certified, pre-owned Nooks are back at Buy.com for just $99 shipped. Just sayin’.
More later, but that should get your day started and maybe take care of any pesky earworms for a few minutes.
More shoes (or cute purses)
Hey, check this one out—right now Naturalizer is offering free shipping on every order, through May 11th. And if you apply coupon code AUSDM, it takes $10 off of $10+.
Go to the Sale section and organize by price to see the cheapest stuff, if you’re like me. There’s quite a few cute clutches for just $15, so they’d only cost you $5!
Or just take this as a sign that you need those shoes you’ve been eyeing. Either way.
Every kid’s a superhero
Oh, I just love this. And I’m so sad my kids are a little too old for it: Today’s DealPulp deal is $12 for $30 worth of goodies from PowerCapes.com. What little kid doesn’t want a personalize cape??
(Heck, I kind of want a cape. I’ll wear it to PTA meetings. I’m sure that won’t be weird at all.)
Kindle me this
There’s still time to snag a Kindle for Mom for Mother’s Day; you could even get it delivered in time, if you order today. (I have no idea how much overnight shipping costs if you don’t already have Prime, but you already have Prime, right? And then it’s just $3.99.)
In case you’ve been on the fence, for your consideration:
1) Right now both the 6″ Kindle 3G and 9.7″ Kindle DX come with a bonus $25 Amazon gift card.
2) If you’re just scoping out the lowest price possible, did you know there’s now a Kindle with Special Offers? Basically, you save $25 off the price, but occasionally receive ads. At $114, it’s the very cheapest way to snag a Kindle right now. You’ll have to decide how things balance out in the grand “want to save money, hate seeing ads” scale of things.
Me, I’m trying not to look. Right now my Sony Reader and my computer aren’t speaking to each other and I’m experiencing some irrational Kindle lust.
Sweet rides for your tot
I’m looking at these deals and feeling a little jealous, frankly. I’m pretty sure this tricycle is actually nicer than my car. That seems… unfair.
Regardless! If you have a little one—or a couple little ones—you may be interested in one of these ankle-biter methods of conveyance currently marked down at Amazon:
First, there’s the Alex Ready, Steady, Go! Trike for $80 shipped. It grows with your child and has all the bells and whistles (the little sun shield just slays me), and this is a good $20 cheaper than I’ve seen it anywhere else. As usual, of course, Amazon’s “regular” price is inflated; no, you’re not really saving $120, but still, a nice deal.
Second, if it’s a wagon you’re wanting, they have the Radio Flyer Odyssey Wagon for just $60 shipped. Be sure to explain to your kids while you pull them around that back in your day you had to walk uphill in the snow both ways and no one pulled you in a wagon, mmkay?
Whichever one you pick, your kiddo will be riding in style. And you may even have money left over for snacks.
Cinco de 6pm
6pm.com is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with… denim? Okay, it’s a little weird. But it would be hard to ship you tacos, I guess.
Enjoy up to 80% off both men’s and women’s denim, today, in addition to featured discounts on shoe brands like Keds, Reef, Bass, and Calvin Klein. It’s really kind of hard to go wrong, y’know?
Mama’s got a brand new gig
Did you hear that…? It was the sound of me pinching a penny so hard, they heard it all the way over at Tree.com! The rest, as they say, is history—starting this week, I am now a featured contributor to their Money & Finance Channel, debuting with this little piece on warehouse club shopping.
They’re building a neat little community over there, and I’m delighted to be part of the team. I hope you’ll come check it out. (Maybe you’ll even register so that you can comment over there…? I don’t know if I mentioned this, lately, but you’re looking very pretty.)
