It’s peanut butter jelly time!
(No, I am not linking to the song. You’re welcome. It’s already stuck in my head and I am being nice and not sharing.)
So what do I have for you besides an annoying earworm? I have this: Amazon has a 6-pack of Skippy Creamy Natural Peanut Butter With Honey available right now for $13.50; not a bad deal, but not great. But, if you apply coupon code TOTALUNI the price drops 15%, and then buying via Subscribe & Save takes it down another 15% and gives you free shipping. Result: 6 jars of peanut butter for just $9.45 shipped.
Even if you don’t like this peanut butter, yourself, this is a great way to pick up something for your local food bank on the cheap.
Free shipping, b’gosh
Hey, did you know that today only, Osh Kosh is offering free shipping on every order with coupon code SUMMERSUN?
They’re featuring $6 summer essentials today, which is mostly shirts and flip-flops, but of course you can use the code on anything (even clearance).
It’s almost enough to make me wish I still had a little one. The sizes run up to 12, but I still think there is nothing cuter than a toddler in overalls. (Plus I’m pretty sure neither of my children would wear overalls now even upon threat of death.)
Heads up, Harry Potter fans!
Guess what just had a giant price drop at Amazon? The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 Blu-ray/DVD 3-disc set! It’s now just $14.99, and ships free with Prime (or on your $25+ Super Saver Shipping order).
We have the box set of the previous movies, and this is a good $10 cheaper than I ever expected to see this one. I’m grabbing it before they jack the price back up.
Rue la squee
Haven’t spent your $20 of bonus cash for signing up at Rue La La yet? Today they’re running a French Bull boutique, and despite tending much more towards the Eeyore end of the spectrum than the Tigger one, I am an absolute sucker for all things French Bull. So bright! So cheerful! It’s like a kitchen full of happy! I want one of everything they’re selling, please.
Well, sorry—your $20 won’t get you one of everything. But it does allow you a variety of possibilities either for free or nearly so, and if you don’t find something that makes you smile, you may want to check and be sure you still have a pulse.
For camping, and other stuff
Alert and pretty reader Karen dropped me a note to let me know that LL Bean has marked down many of their Bean canteens, which are actually made for them by Kleen Kanteen, in case that matters to you. At just $10 a pop, they’re certainly cheaper than you’ll find most KK options.
But it gets even better—Bean is offering free shipping on everything, automatically, and for the next couple of days, you can also apply coupon code THANKYOU for an additional 20% off your order.
Of course, there’s plenty of other stuff on sale if you don’t need a water bottle, too. Just sayin’.
Ooooh, something shiny
You know I’m always a sucker for shiny things… and today’s Target Daily Deals piqued my bling-radar, immediately. Check out the Sonia Kashuk “Dripping in Diamonds” 8-piece cosmetic brush set; for $10 you get a great set of basic brushes, plus a cute little silver clutch to keep ’em in. The reviews are great (several mention just using the clutch for a night out instead of for the brushes), and it’s hard to beat the price.
They’ve also got a big ELF makeup kit and a couple of Dysons featured, today, but I’m going to stick with the shiny.
Another way to be clean and green
I know I recently posted a deal on Seventh Generation detergent, but today my favorite detergent is on sale—Amazon has 4 100-ounce Ecos Free & Clear detergents available for just $23 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save. This is the lowest price it’s been at for over a year, and had I not broken down and ordered some just last month, I’d be stocking up.
“But Mir,” I can hear you thinking, “Why wouldn’t you just stock up, anyway?” Each bottle does 100 loads; one shipment of 4 bottles literally lasts us over a year. So I guess I’lll just hope it goes on sale again next year!
A totally domestic Gold Box
Psssst… I’m about to go have brunch with my family, but have you checked out the Amazon Gold Box this morning? The featured deal is a well-reviewed Juki sewing machine for just $160, and the current Lightning Deal is a Breadman Ultimate Plus Convection machine for just $70.
Apron and pies not included. But should you pick both of these up, you may feel inspired to add them.
Friday deals
Good morning! The sun in shining, and I hear someone got married this morning. Which is an excellent excuse to consider a little shopping, right? Right!
The Amazon Friday Sale continues to be mostly coffee. I am not sure exactly how much coffee Amazon thinks we drink, but the answer appears to be “all of it.” But don’t worry—if you’re not a coffee drinker, they also have a ton of tea on sale. And if you’re not thirsty, don’t forget that this month’s selection of $5 MP3 albums is only available for a couple more days. Get your tunes before the price goes back up!
If you’d like to be Queen (or King) for the day, go shop at Banana Republic; coupon code BRKING30 will take 30% off your purchase today and tomorrow (2 days!), proving that even royalty are sometimes not good at math.
6pm.com is having an 80% off “garage sale” today; I tried to resist, I really did, but c’mon. 80% off? I’m only human.
Over in the Target Daily Deals, they’ve got some basic underwire bras available for 2 for $10 (buy one, get one free). They’re not the most exciting things I’ve ever seen, but $5 is hard to beat.
It looks like today’s special at Graveyard Mall is a 2-pack of cordless grinders (think Dremel, though I’m guessing this is a no-name brand) for $16 shipped. Hard to go wrong at that price point, even if they don’t last forever.
Also keep in mind that most (maybe all, but I’m too lazy to check…) of the Friends & Family deals I posted over the last couple of days are still going on. So there’s plenty of places to get a bargain today, if you’re so inclined.
Yet another F&F discount
I thought I posted this yesterday, but apparently I’m imagining things. (In case you’re wondering, I also imagined that I won the lottery and that my kids stopped bickering. It’s good to have dreams.)
Anyway, here you go: Through May 2nd, shop at Macy’s and use coupon code MACYSFF for 25% off most everything (10% off things like electronic and mattresses). Shipping on your $99+ order is always automatically free, too.
Hey, if Macy’s wants me to be part of their family, who am I to say no?
