Hey guys, go watch football for a minute
This one is just for the ladies. And if tampon talk is going to make you squeamish, well, I think I see something shiny over there. Behind you. Okay.
Right now Amazon has either the Tampax Pearl 50-count Multipax or the Tampax Pearl 54-count Regular available on sale ($9.69 and $8.97, respectively). Both also have an available $2 coupon you’ll see on the page—just click on “Clip this coupon” to get it), and both qualify for Subscribe & Save for an extra 15% off and free shipping.
Combine those discounts and you’re looking at a final price of around a dime a tampon. Not bad.
(Hey, the deals can’t all be sexy and/or fun. Some items are just things you have to buy, and if I can find ’em for less so you have money left over for the fun stuff, so much the better, right?)
Clear your schedule!
Discounted clearance you would’ve bought anyway
You’ve gotta love it when Old Navy offers an additional discount, given that their regular prices are generally pretty reasonable and their sale prices tend to be awesome. Well, now you’ve got three days to really rock it out—you can take an additional 25% off anything already on clearance with coupon code ONEXTRA25.
Shipping is automatically free if your order reaches $50, otherwise it’s a flat $7. (Not that I’ve ever gotten out of there for under $50, but maybe you have more restraint than I do.)
Final hours for extra home savings
I can’t remember if I posted this before or not, and I’m too lazy to look right this second. Regardless, through midnight tonight, any purchase you make at Home Decorators Collection that exceeds $150 will have $30 taken off, automatically, at checkout.
And yes, that works even on items already on sale. Did I mention that everything in the Outlet is shipping for free, today? Because it is.
Prepare for aching ovaries
Some kids’ toys are so cute, they almost make me wish I still had a screaming infant. Which is crazy.
Well, I’m pretty sure neither of my (big) kids would be interested in this Manhattan Toy Snuggle Pod, but at just $8.50 I may have to pick up a couple for the gift closet. Yes, that is a baby-safe soft doll nestled in a pea pod. Yes, that is nearly unbearably adorable.
Okay, quick—someone go have a baby!
In case you can’t wait for Wednesday
Sure, there’s usually a giant Kohls sale every Wednesday, but sometimes you can’t wait until then to do your shopping. I understand.
Well, it turns out that today—Monday, January 24th, 2011—is a pretty good day to shop there. For one day only, everyone can use coupon code LUVFANS for an additional 20% off )no Kohls charge card required). In addition, coupon code GR8DEAL75 can be stacked with it to get free shipping on your $75+ order.
As always, this isn’t going to be the right time to pick up a package of socks, maybe, but if you have a lot of shopping to do or have your eye on a big-ticket item, this may be the time to do it.
Weird, yet alluring
So I’m doing my typical morning rounds, you know, and I pop on over to 6pm.com to see what lovely shoes I you might need, and there in the middle of the page is a square proclaiming up to 55% off Bogs. Bogs? I have no idea what those are, but there’s some sort of fun-looking boots there, so I clicked. And then I spent the next ten minutes going, “What the heck are these? They’re so… weird. But ooooh, cute! But no, they’re, like, mutant rainboots. Or something. Purple!” Etc. It was kind of a mess.
I still don’t quite understand what Bogs are. (Rainboots, but also snowboots! But some of them aren’t boots at all!) But they have other great brands on sale, too, if the Bogs make your head hurt like they did for me.
More cereal for your morning
Still need more cereal to pad your pantry? There’ve been a few great deals at Amazon lately, but here’s a nice assortment if you’ve missed the last couple of deals: Right now you can save an extra 30% on select cereals when you apply 15% off coupon code BIGGNYNY and combine that with the 15% Subscribe & Save deal (which also gives you free shipping).
This 3-pack pf Honey Nut Cheerios, for example, comes out to just $5.30 shipped—they’re probably paying more to send it to you than you’re paying for the actual product!
Do note that a lot of the qualifying cereals seem to be coming in and out of stock, so check back if the one you want is currently unavailable.
Polka dots and gift boxes rock
Two cool deals for you this fine Sunday:
First, I became slightly smitten with the polka-dotted shower curtain in today’s Target Daily Deals before I even realized it’s part of a monster-themed line of products. Scroll down to see the “often purchased together” items and prepare to die from the cuteness. (Hint: Monster foot rugs!) As always, Daily Deal items ship for free. If you fall for the whole Monster line, though, shipping is free when your total gets to $50+.
Second, pretty reader Kathy was kind enough to let me know that there are a couple of gift boxes at Whole Foods, still, that can be gotten for 60% off and free shipping when you apply coupon code Box60WFM. We refer to Whole Foods as “Whole Paycheck” ’round here, so this is really a fabulous discount. Thanks, Kathy!
Breakfast is back, baby
Did you miss this deal earlier this week? It’s back in stock—Amazon has a 6-pack of Cinnamon Life cereal for just $9.67 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save.
I generally buy organic cereals, but this is one non-organic I regularly cave on for my kids. No high fructose corn syrup, and also one I remember very fondly from my youth. (Of course, when I tell my kids that Mikey likes it, they say, “Who’s Mikey??”)
