How about a Dyson deal?

Hey, it’s been a while since I spotted a great deal on a Dyson, but I think this one qualifies.

The Dyson DC17 Slim All Floors Vacuum is the deal of the day over at Linens ‘N’ Things, today. So it’ll ship for free (a bargain in and of itself, as shipping is generally in the neighborhood of $50). Use coupon code 26620000008 to take 20% off the regular price, and you’ll have a Dyson to your door for about $376.

And that, my pretties, really does not suck. (Well, the vacuum will suck. I hope. But the price doesn’t!)

Even better savings at Sierra Trading Post

As if their regular discounted prices weren’t good enough; as if their sale prices weren’t good enough; as if their bargain-basement clearance prices weren’t good enough—well, this is my kind of promotion, is all I’m saying. Because through August 4th, 2008, you can receive 15% off select clearance items at Sierra Trading Post when you click through that link right there.

If you’ve not shopped Sierra Trading Post before, you’ll be amazed by the breadth of what they carry. It’s the only store I know of where high-end camping wear and gear sits side-by-side with designer shoes and boutique children’s clothing. Heh. They have a little of everything, is my point. And it’s all cheap(er)!

Deals at Office Depot

Okay, this may not be as exciting as the entire run of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but at least it won’t sell out by the time I hit “Publish.” Hmph!

Okay, so, the $30 off your $150+ order and 10% off your non-technology order offers at Office Depot are still running. Just a handy little reminder, there.

If you search for item 332820, you’ll find a 5.8Ghz cordless GE phone for $14.99. That’s a great deal, if you’re in the market for such an item. There’s also a whole bunch of office chairs on sale, and remember that if you spend over $50 with Office Depot, your shipping is free (and usually next-day).

See? Not sold out yet.

All Buffy! Quick!

If you love Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I just noticed that it’s the current Amazon Gold Box Deal—but it’s going fast.

Hurry up! It’s just $89.99 for the entire show!

[Edited to add: Nevermind. I watched it sell out in under a minute. That was wild.]

In case you missed the last one

I know, I know—it’s been, like, five minutes since I posted the last Restaurant.com deal. I’m starting to feel like a pusher at the edge of the playground. “Hey, kid! You should try it. C’mon, just once. Everybody’s doing it! You’ll love it!”

I apologize. But it is hard to turn down $25 of dining for just $5, no?

Anyway, you have until July 13th, 2008, to hop on over to Restaurant.com and use coupon code DELICIOUS to take 50% off your order. that gets you a $10 certificate for $3, or a $25 certificate for $5.

Plus, I’ll think you’re really cool.

While you wait for me to get it together

I thought I’d be all back on schedule today, but it turns out that five seconds after a house guest leaves here is not, in fact, my most productive work time, especially when I have been staying up entirely too late laughing myself silly. So! I shall collect myself and get a very cool contest posted later today, but in the meantime please bear with me as I consider that age old question: Clean, or nap?

Hey, though July 10th, 2008 Kohls is doing $5 flat-rate shipping on all orders, which is pretty cool, plus there’s new stuff available in the clearance and—as always—coupons available. Kohls card holders can use MVC9635 for free shipping through July 12, 2008, plus MVCSAVENOW for 15% off your entire order (coupons can be stacked). Not a card holder? Use code NEW1891 for 10% off your order, anyway.

And I’ll be back later, either better-rested or with a clean house. Maybe.

Winter will be back before you know it

As much as it pains me to post this in the middle of the summer, I live to serve.

There was a lot of interest last year in polarfleece bed sheets, which caused my skin to crawl even while I was having hot flashes. There is nothing that sounds worse to me that fleece sheets, but I’m always too warm and I live in Georgia, so don’t go by me. Maybe you live in an area nicknamed the Arctic Tundra and fleece sheets sound like a dandy idea to you. If so, now’s the time to buy: Amazon has fleece sheet sets in all sizes, ranging from under $8 for twin to around $12 for king.

These would be good for winter camping, I suppose, if nothing else.

Just please don’t tell me about it. The very thought makes me sweat.
