Saturday deals
Here’s a few deals to brighten your Saturday….
There’s a new crop of limited-time deals at CompUSA, from memory cards to cameras and everything else gadget-y you might want.
Take $30 off your $500+ purchase at Overstock through that there link. Buy yourself a couch! Or a dining room set! Or a year’s supply of muscle enhancer! Whatever!
Take 15% off your total Kohls purchase with coupon code MARCH15, if you’re a Kohls card holder. Coupon is valid through March 18th, 2008.
Eddie Bauer is having their Spring Sale, plus they’ve done away with the Eddie Bauer Outlet and now have a clearance section on the main site. That’s sort of confusing, but also means none of that whole “this coupon works only in the Outlet and that one works only on the main site” nonsense, so I think it’ll be good.
Over at The Children’s Place shipping is always a flat $5, and through the weekend you can use coupon code MA138 for $5 off $50+ or MA238 for $10 off $75+. The Summer stuff is already out, which feels downright weird.
Boscovs is offering free shipping on your $50+ order this weekend, plus there’s an extra 10-15% being taken off many of the already reduced items in their Outlet.
[And, um, I typed all of that from inside my bathtub with a mattress over my head (false), because last night there was a tornado in Atlanta (true). If I see any bargains on “returning to my happy place” (and my happy place is anywhere tornado-free), I’ll be sure to let you know….]
Need a printer/scanner/copier?
Heck, I think this thing might scramble eggs for you, if only you can figure out how to program it.
Right now the HP OfficeJet 4315 All-In-One Printer is just $49.99 ($39.99 if you haven’t used Google Checkout yet!) with free shipping at Buy.com. (It’s currently selling for $80 at Amazon.) It prints, scans, copies, and faxes. I hear it tells a mean knock-knock joke, too.
Not a bad deal on a decent machine, if you don’t need a top-of-the-line system.
I love you Fri-iday, oh yes I do
It’s Friday, all day! That can only mean one thing: It’s time to check out the Amazon Friday Sale.
The first thing you’ll probably notice this week is a special link to 50% off Sci-Fi Television DVD box sets. Perfect if you want to get your X-Files, Buffy, Stargate, etc., on. Ya big geek.
I really pictured something completely different when I read “Wings of Life”, but this is good too, I guess.
Yeah, I know I can just make tea with a tea bag, but this tea press is so pretty and fancy-looking!
You know I cannot resist the siren song of a shiny KitchenAid mixer when it’s on sale. Rowr.
I always see those tap-on lights and think that they’re a good idea, but sort of a poor execution—the places you’ll need that sort of light, it’s probably inconvenient to “tap,” after all. But now there’s motion-activated LED spot lights, which I think is positively brilliant. I shall have to stop myself from sticking them all over the house.
Would you eat something called HOOAH!? If you would, they’re currently half off ($15 for 15 bars), plus if you spend $39 on qualifying nutrition bars, you can use coupon code BARMARO8 to take another $10 off your order.
If you’re looking for hot rollers, this Caruso set is nothing short of miraculous (I have one, and it works both on my thick, curly hair and my daughter’s fine, straight hair), not to mention 42% off.
Phew. Okay. All of that excitement wore me out. Go have a great Friday, everyone, and remember—friends don’t let friends pay full retail.
In case you need a little treat
It’s not much, but right now at Red Envelope you can take 15% off your $50+ order with coupon code PFX15. The code is valid through March 31st, 2008.
(There’s five pages of sale deals, and you’ve been exceptionally good lately….)
Big savings at the Disney Outlet
Oh, I know—it’s the Outlet, so the savings should be all the time, right? Still, sometimes the deals are better than others. Right now at the Disneyshopping.com Outlet there’s plenty of stuff marked down to 80% off, and that means that normally ridiculously- expensive items are now affordable for mere humans. Which is nice.
Through today (March 13th, 2008) you can use coupon code SHIP75 to ship your $75+ order for free, or through March 20th, 2008, you can use coupon code FIVESHIP to ship your $50+ order for just $5.
And I don’t mean to nag, but you do realize you’ve got just a little over a week to have Easter baskets put together, right…?
End-of-season bargains
I’m not exactly sure what qualifies as the season when you’re talking about the National Geographic Store… perhaps there’s a season for DVDs, and a season for t-shirts? A season for penguins and a season for antelope? Whatever. However they do it, it’s time for the National Geographic Online Store end-of-season sale. Save up to 70%, and let me know if you figure out which season is coming up next.
(I’m hoping for jewelry season, myself….)
Last day for $.99 shipping
Today—March 12th, 2008—is the last day for $.99/item shipping at Kohls… until the next time they run it. Heh.
There’s still plenty on clearance, as well as a bunch of buy one, get one bonus buys available.
I just got a package from Kohls today, in fact. When I order stuff for the kids instead of for myself it seems to actually arrive. Hmmm….
Wanna whittle?
Both of my children are jonesing for pocket knives. They’re not joining gangs or even having to survive in the wilderness (I mean, I keep locking the doors, but they still find a way back into the house), it’s that whole scouting thing. Their friends have knives, and they know how to whittle! And they want to do it, too.
I’m not buying them knives any time soon. But I gather some people are less neurotic than I am about such things, and may be seeking a deal on little pocket knives for their kids. If that sounds like you, and you need to buy three or more knives, you might be interested in either this three-pack or this three-pack of knives at Amazon. 64% and 62% off, respectively, and you’ll have the joy of knowing you got a good deal while you’re on your way to the Emergency Room for stitches the kids whittle away.
Toddler snow boot deal
How do I love LL Bean? Let me count the ways!
Wait, no. I’ll count the ways later. First, lemme show you this deal before they sell out: Get toddler snow tread boots right now for just $6.50. Buy ahead for next year! And if you use coupon code 2373230 they’ll ship for free, making them cheaper than crummy boots, but a million times better in quality because they’re Bean.
It’s at moment like this that I almost—almost!—miss living in snow country.
Wednesday deals at JC Penney
I love to check the JCP Wednesday Deals, even though I rarely see anything I actually like. But the assortment is always interesting. I mean, do I want a tank top or a fake fireplace? I can’t decide!
Heh.
If you’re shopping, there’s a free shipping code that’s valid on Outlet purchases—just use OUTFREE through March 13th, 2008 (that’s tomorrow) to ship your $99+ order within the contiguous United States.
