Joyce Meyer CDs, nearly-free
[Disclaimer: I have no opinion on Joyce Meyer Ministries or these CDs. This appears to be a Christian faith-based offering, and I am not endorsing it by sharing it here, merely pointing out that it’s a good deal. Carry on.]
How much do you think a 4-CD set should cost? How about a buck? Joyce Meyer Ministries is offering their Me and My Big Mouth CD set for any offering amount of a dollar or more for a limited time. You name your buying price, they sell it to you for that amount. Period. Sound good? Check it out, if so.
Big savings at SmartBargains today
Wooo! So, for the month of March we have the ever-popular free shipping on orders of $75+ at SmartBargains (through that there link), and then today, for some reason, they are doing an additional 25% off select clearance.
I don’t know why—perhaps March 10th is a super-secret holiday! who knows!—but I know the bargains are worth checking out.
Stock up for summer at Old Navy
It’s that time again—the time of the year when you drag yourself out of bed, muttering “Daylight Savings this” under your breath each morning!
Oh, um… it’s also time for the Two-For sale at Old Navy. Which happens to be slightly less cranky.
Now’s the time to save big on things like shorts and tank tops, plus they’ve got their rash guard swim suits in, already, so you can stock up for the kids nice and early. Just tell yourself, “Winter will end. Winter will end soon. I’m buying tank tops, it must be true.”
And that’s why watching TV is money-saving
So I’m sitting here watching some inane television show, and there was just a commercial for a new Scrubbing Bubbles cleaning product. I enjoy Scrubbing Bubbles, mostly because I am still waiting for the bubbles to come to life and clean my bathroom without my help. Anyway.
There was a web address at the end of the commercial, and whaddaya know! There’s a coupon available! It’s only for $1 off, but hey, it adds up.
Now if only the bubbles would do that thing they do in the commercial, that’d be awesome.
Saturday deals
Goooooooood morning! What’s on the agenda for today? A wee bit of bargain hunting, perhaps? I’ve got you covered.
Mmmmmm… cookies! Right now at David’s Cookies you can take 12% off your Easter basket (or other gourmet goodies) order with coupon code EASTER12A. Even better, you’ll get free shipping as well. (Check out the “cookie play dough” for something that would make any kid’s day.)
On weekend special at Buy.com: refurbished Garmin StreetPilot 2610 for $179.99 and free shipping. (It has excellent reviews, too.)
For the entire month of March, take 10% off orders of $100 or more at Sierra Trading Post! automatically.
I think Overstock has gotten a tad stingy with the coupons lately… nevertheless, you can save $5 off purchases of $100+ or save $15 off purchases of $250+
through those there links.
If you’re a GNC shopper, check this out: Get free shipping and 15% off your $100+ order through that there link. They’re running tons of buy 1, get one half-off deals, too.
Good news! Everything at Petite Sophisticate is at least 40% off, and you can still use coupon code 776569006 for free shipping on $25+ or code 776569105 for 25% off your $75+ order. (Once again, I wish I was short. Hmph.)
Over at Lane Bryant, all weekend long you can take 40% off their new spring arrivals with coupon code 000409797 (sadly, it won’t work on stuff already on sale, or on the brands that are generally excluded—lingerie, most notably).
Gosh, we haven’t had a Restaurant.com promo in a few days a while… howzabout you use coupon code SPRING to take 50% off your order, and grab some $25 dining certificates for just $5 this weekend?
That should give you some ideas, at least. Happy Saturday!
Friday, all day (hooray!)
It grey and rainy outside, here, and I do not care. For today is Friday, and Friday is excellent. Friday means I’ve almost made it to the holy grail of the week: the day when I get to sleep in a little. (Sure, it’s a little pitiful that this is what I look forward to the most, but I am old and whose idea was it for school to start at 7:30?)
Before the sleeping in, however, there is the splendor of the Amazon Friday Sale.
Oooh, it’s a digital picture frame that’s also a clock, calendar, alarm, and salad spinner! (Okay, I may have made up the salad spinner part.)
Need a cheap Peg Perego Aria stroller? Nice price, and free shipping.
For when you care enough to say “honey, you stink at parking,” there’s the Park-Zone precision parking device. (I can easily see this one being either a marriage saver or breaker, depending.)
Here’s another Dremel deal, and you all were so helpful last week in telling me why one needs a Dremel, too. I had no idea!
I am in love with this see-saw. Half price, ultra-sturdy, cool-looking, and the free shipping makes it an even bigger bargain. Plus, it holds up to 300 pounds!
Commercial-weight Calphalon cookware, 72% off. Or professional non-stick Anolon for 81% off.
Need batteries? How about 48 AA Rayovac alkalines for $14.99 (free Super Saver Shipping available).
Now I have to go do some laundry and call my cable company again. As soon as I get home, that is. I’m at my local free wifi establishment having a cup of coffee, because guess what! No internet at home!
Here’s to a glorious weekend for us all. May it include internet or at least other things that work properly!
Technical difficulties
Sorry for the dearth of posts today, folks. I’m having some technical difficulties, by which I mean that my internet service provider would rather believe that my router, my computer, my children, and perhaps mythical leprechauns are at fault for my spotty internet connection rather than them.
Go figure.
Back later, hopefully with the head of someone who works at Charter.
If you need a vacuum on the cheap
I know we talk a lot about Dysons and other high-end vacuums here, because… um, apparently because we are really concerned about vacuuming. Wow. Now I’m a little depressed.
Anyway!
If you want a decent vacuum but don’t want to go Dyson or Kirby or Electrolux, you might want to check out the Eureka R4870G Boss Upright. (That link goes to a refurb on Amazon that’s just $69.99 with free shipping!) This model is a Consumer Reports Best Buy, so a smart choice if you’re looking for a decent vac at this price point.
Free shipping is back at Lands’ End
Remember the good old days? You know, when we had to walk uphill, both ways, in the snow, barefoot, to get to school? When Lands’ End never offered any coupons? Wasn’t that great?
Oh, wait a minute. That was awful. Nevermind!
Hey, shop the new stuff or go check out the mountain of bargains in the Lands’ End Overstocks, if you’re so inclined, and then use source code TULIP and PIN 530253025 to ship your order for free. The coupon is valid through March 14th, 2008.
That totally beats being barefoot in a blizzard.
If the shoe fits. . .
… you have to buy it. Isn’t that an old saying? A truism?
Okay, maybe not. But if you need shoes anyway, you might be interested to know that through March 17th, 2008, you can take 20% off your total order at Shoebuy with coupon code MADNESS08.
They have free shipping and free returns, too, so it may be worth a look.
You know what they say—a day without shoes is like a day without sunshine!
(What? They… don’t? Okay; nevermind.)
