Bon-Ton clearance = cheap toys
There’s all kinds of clearance going on throughout the Bon-Ton site right now, but toys are just about the best deal running.
Use coupon code WPKIDSTOY11 for an additional 40% off toys today (February 16th, 2011) only. You can also stack that with coupon code YRSIGNATURE2010 for free shipping on anything.
Looks like the cheap stuff is selling out fast, so jump on this one if you’re interested. (I almost typed interesting. Jump on this if you’re interesting? Huh. I think I need more coffee.)
Even your delicate skin deserves a deal
Today’s Steal of the Day at Soap.com is 50% off all Almay products, for up to $10 off total. Just use coupon code FBALMAY to grab the savings.
I am, as you know, a delicate flower. Almay is one of the few skincare/makeup brands I can use that doesn’t make my face all red and angry. Their tagline should totally be “Suitable even for delicate flowers.” I mean, who wouldn’t want to buy something labeled with that?
Shipping at Soap.com is always free on your $25+ order, too. As befits a delicate lady such as yourself. (I’m sorry. I’m projecting, again.)
Are you eating well at Trader Joe’s?
Longtime readers know that I am an unabashed fangirl when it comes to Trader Joe’s; before we had a nearby one, I would load coolers into the car twice a year and make the pilgrimage to stock up on all our favorites.
If you share the TJ’s love, check out this piece from EatingWell about what to buy there and what to skip. I was pleased to see that my habits and favorites are fairly in line with their findings. (Spoiler: Cheese. And frozen fruit for smoothies.)
Of course, before I had to give up gluten, I was composed of approximately 67% Trader Joe’s Tiny Chocolate Chip Cookies, but let’s not talk about that.
I love that monkey
I don’t know if there’s supposed to be some deeper meaning to the grinning chimp-face there that I’m missing, but I dig just about everything Paul Frank because it makes me laugh. So I’m loving today’s Daily Deals at Target—it’s everything Paul Frank, from t-shirts to jammies to his “skurvy comforter.” (Don’t worry, it’s the pirate skull looking thing, not a comforter covered in pirate cooties or anything.)
As always, free shipping on daily deals. Even when they’re not on monkeys!
Dance it out
Is your Wii feeling sad and neglected? Do you need more motivation to get up off your couch? Put these two sad situations together and… you get a great excuse to check out Amazon’s current Ubisoft video game promotion!
Just buy one of the already-marked-down qualifying dance titles (any of the Just Dance titles, or Michael Jackson: The Experience), and choose one of the over 250 other qualifying games to buy at an additional 30% off. Many of the bonus games are already marked down, so you stand to save half off or more, depending on what you choose.
Me, I’m trying not to buy any more games until we finish our Lego Rock Band tour. Because I am totally hooked the kids love it. Ahem.
It’s Bean backpack time
Longtime Want Not readers know that I love backpacks that come with a fuss-free unconditional guarantee, which is why I only buy them from either Lands’ End or LL Bean these days.
Alert (and pretty!) reader Katie wrote in to let me know that while she was getting a replacement from Bean—no questions asked!—on a backpack with a broken zipper, she’d noticed a particularly good deal on their deluxe book pack. And actually, right now they have over a dozen backpack markdowns for your perusal.
Use coupon code 3026438 for free shipping on any order.
(Thanks again, Katie!)
Grab a friend, save on membership
Pretty Want Not reader Kim wrote in to let me know that if you’re interested in joining Mothers & More, right now they’re running a special through the end of March. Normally membership is $45 for the year, but if you and a friend sign up together, it’s $60 for both of you. That’s a third off and also a guarantee that your friend will be putting up with you for at least another year.
I belonged to a local Mothers & More group when my kids were little, and I loved having a “mommy playgroup” to look forward to even on days when it felt like it was just me and Elmo against the entire world. Nowadays they have all sorts of online stuff in addition to local chapters. You kids today! With your fancy new-fangled connectivity! Hmph.
Er, I mean, check it out. Ahem.
Well, when you say it like that…
I can’t stop laughing at the product description of this 3-pack of Honey Nut Cheerios at Amazon:
A convenient way to add soluble fiber and it tastes great
Mmmmmm… soluble fiber!
Get three boxes for just over $4 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save (which you can always cancel later). What a great way to scratch your bargain itch and, um, get that great-tasting soluble fiber you’re apparently craving. Hey, I don’t judge.
[Updated to add: Looks like it’s now sold out from Amazon. As an alternative, check out this Kashi Heart To Heart Honey Oat 6-pack (I prefer the Kashi, anyway, because it’s all-natural) for $10.62 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save. It costs more, but it’s more boxes, a little bit more per box, and you get the crunchy hippie-dippie Kashi points. Yes, there are totally points for that.]

Another good day to Kohls
If you want to shop Kohls this week, today’s a good day to do it—everyone can use coupon code ONEDAY20OFF for 20% anything in the store.
Shipping is automatically free on $50+, too. No coupon necessary.
Generally a coupon like this means another promotion is right around the corner; in this case, I think that Kohls Cash starts again tomorrow, plus cardholders’ coupons start tomorrow as well. So depending on what you want to buy, if you’re a cardholder, you might want to wait a day. But if not? Today’s a good time to grab the savings.
