Spare LEGOs, at a nice price

I went ahead and got this on a Lightning Deal, yesterday, but today Amazon just has it priced at the Lightning Deal price as the regular price. (Did you follow that?) I’m only a little bitter. Anyway! Get the LEGO Ultimate Building Set (that’s over 400 pieces) for just $15.

It’s a great bucket to start the LEGO love for a just-outgrowing-Duplo kid, or just as a “sorry I vacuumed up all those bricks over the years” supplement for your established LEGO lover.

What? Stop looking at me like that.

Eddie Bauer deals

I remain an ardent patron of Eddie Bauer, despite the fact that shopping there sometimes makes me wonder who, exactly, needs a $300 coat rated to -50 degrees. No matter! I like their clothes. And they do that ridiculous thing where the sizes run so large, I wear a full size smaller there than everywhere else. And even though I know this, it still delights me a little.

Today and through the weekend, shop their specials and use coupon code BLACKFRI to ship your order for free, regardless of size. Start with the Clearance section and you’re likely to find some great deals.

All outerwear is on sale, too. Just in case you need one of those ballistic techno anti-freezification parkas. Or whatever.

The ultimate car accessory for your iPod/iPhone

As long as so many of us are shopping for iPods and iPhones, I thought this was worth mentioning: Amazon has the GOgroove FlexPort+ Car Mount System available for $20. This allows you to plug in your iPhone or iPod and charge it, as well as listen to it via the FM transmitter through your car’s speakers.

The discussion thread on Amazon confirms that this works with the latest generation iPhone, by the way. I hope my husband isn’t reading this. Hey, honey, look over there! Something, um, covered in leftover turkey!

A little something for you, maybe

Sure, you’re probably spending today shopping for everyone else, but no one said you can’t scoop up a deal or two for yourself, while you do so.

Today The Limited is offering 40% off of everything, and free shipping on ever single order. Which means you may just have to pick yourself up a little something pretty.

(I see… houndstooth dog coats. If I buy one of those for Licorice, I’m officially a crazy dog lady, right?)

Hey hey, fellow LEGO fanatics

Why yes, I have found myself over shopping at LEGO this morning. Do I have “Mommy is a sucker” stamped on my forehead? I probably should.

Here’s the skinny, though: New items are on sale every day this weekend, shipping is free on $49+, and if you spend $149+ you also get 10% off.

The site is moving verrrrry sloooooowly, but some of the deals are worth it. This Baranus Bionicle, for example, is currently $20 (for comparison: $32 at Amazon). And yeah, I think it’s kind of scary, but I happen to know a little boy who will likely feel differently.

Loving some of the items in the sale section for stocking stuffers, too. Lego playing cards! Lego magnets! Fun stuff. It helps assuage my feeling of being a sucker for spending so much on bricks, too.

Mattel doorbusters

Howzabout up to 60% off and free shipping on every order? Sound good? Done: Visit the Mattel Shop Black Friday offerings and that’s what you’ll find. Plenty of great deals on Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Barbie stuff, plus several different SceneIt? games for the whole family, too. Add in coupon code TXTA for an additional 20% off, too (thanks, Kim)!

They have several stocking stuffer-sized items, so with the free shipping, this would be an easy way to knock some of those purchases out on the cheap.

And an iPod Touch deal (in case you don’t win)

I’m hoping that you—yes, you—win the Touch I’m giving away today, because secretly, you’ve always been my favorite. Don’t tell anyone else.

But if 1) you’re not feeling super-great about your odds of winning or 2) you really want the latest and greatest, check out the 4th generation 8GB iPod Touch at Amazon, right now. They’re selling it for $200 ($8 less than Apple’s Black Friday pricing), plus you get a free $25 gift card with it. You must scroll down the page and click “Add Both To Cart” to get the gift card as well.

I mean, probably you’ll win the one I’m giving away. But just in case.

Stocking stuffer?

Maybe this isn’t your typical Black Friday fare, but I find shaving cream to be an excellent stocking stuffer. Ha. (Yes, I’m available for parties!)

Right now you can buy this 6-pack of Gillette Sensitive Skin Shaving Foam from Amazon for just $7 shipped when you buy via Subscribe & Save.

(And ladies—this is also a great option for legs, even though it doesn’t come in a pink can.)
