Grab your Crocs
You’ve got a few days to save big over at Crocs.com; they’re offering automatic free shipping on every order through the end of May, plus code MEMORIAL20 will save you another 20% on your order. [Edited to add: Looks like the coupon only takes 20% off one item, but with free shipping, you can place separate orders to reap the savings. Also, it looks like Crocband styles may be excluded from coupon usage.]
And as much as I always feel the urge to lecture folks on Proper Crocs Wearing every time I post one of these deals (I’m not anti-Crocs, I’m just anti-Crocs-when-you-should-be-wearing-real-shoes), I have to say that their new ABF collection of ergonomic flip-flops is intriguing me. Which may be a sign that I need help, I’m not sure.
Don’t be a zombie
You wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to save big at ThinkGeek just because you weren’t paying attention, would you? I mean… c’mon… Father’s Day is coming up and I’ve got a coupon right here.
Through 5/28/10, use code UNUNDEAD to save $10 off your $30+ order, just because you’re not a zombie. Or something.
Look, I don’t write the coupon codes, I just share the savings. And I assume you’re not a zombie. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that….)
Sizzling deals, super coupons
Memorial Day is almost here (how in the world did that happen?), and that means the sales are starting to roll on in.
If you need silverware or dishes, you might want to go check out this week’s sizzling deals at Oneida, because they’ve got a 65-piece silverware service for 12 marked down to just $60, plus they’ve got some adorable dinnerware I am seriously coveting. (Listen, they can call it “chili mango” all they want, but I see retro orange, all sunny and cheerful, and I want it.)
Through June 1st, you can save even more, too—shipping is always free on orders of $99+, and you can use coupon code MAY3 for $5 off $50+, code MAY2 for $15 off $100+, or code MAY1 for $30 off $150+.
That’s practically a neon sign from the universe letting you know that you can have the silverware and the dishes.
Clinique, magnifique
Despite my love of cheap price tags, there are certain areas in which one simply cannot cheap out. One of those areas is skin care; the older I get, the more I realize the value of taking good care of my skin. (Note to self: Build time machine, travel back to the days of “laying out to get a good base color,” and punch young self in face.)
And so I think you’ll understand me when I tell you that I always get a little excited about the Half-Yearly Women and Kids Sale at Nordstrom, anyway, but mostly it makes me happy because that’s when they offer a really sweet Clinique Bonus Offer. This year it’s particularly awesome: Spend $25 on Clinique, get $75 worth of goodies tucked into a Trina Turk cosmetics bag.
Because if you’re going to treat your skin well—and you should—there’s no reason why you can’t get yourself some extra goodies while you do it.
If you light it, they will toast
Did you miss the last time there was a firepit in the Target Daily Deals? It’s baaaa-aaack, and today you can snap up a 33″ tile bowl firepit fir $75 and free shipping.
Except you can have it even cheaper than that, because activating this link will give you another $5 off, so the grand total will be just $70 (possibly plus tax) to your door. Sweet.
And then you can be the S’mores Queen. Win friends and influence people through toasted sugar, that’s my motto.
More than shoes
So I’ll have a day like today, where I vow that I’m not even going to look at shoes… I mean, other than to possibly alert you to some deals if you need to know about them, that is… and then I just happen to click over to 6pm.com, and they completely mess with my head.
Because today, the featured deals aren’t so much on shoes as on designer clothes, and that’s a completely different category, you know. And while I probably don’t need any shoes today, can I really turn my back on 50% on Calvin Klein dresses or up to 70% off DKNY?
I’m only human. Sheesh.
For your things and stuff
Been on the lookout for a deck box? We happen to own this Suncast 50-gallon deck box to keep our pool stuff in, and I’m pretty sure I paid way more than the $39 it’s currently going for at Amazon. Hmph.
Make sure to select buying it directly from Amazon in the “More Buying Choices” column on the right; it’s currently defaulting to Target as the vendor, which is the same price but wants to charge you shipping. It’s $39 shipped from Amazon directly.
Now that I think of it, I’m pretty sure we had to put it in the car and drive it home, too. You kids today have everything so easy.
More Kohls, because why not
Yes, yes, I know there’s pretty much always a big sale going on at Kohls, but that doesn’t stop me from being lured in. Because there’s new clearance! Also, I went to the actual store (I know, can you believe it?) this past weekend and their stock was abysmal, so I’m finding there’s a lot more available online.
I knew I never should’ve left the house!
Okay, let’s take a look at coupons. Code SHIPPING100 gives you free shipping on $100+, and code TWENTYMAY seems to be working for 20% off for everyone.
None of this, sadly, is enough to mitigate the mystery of why you (and by “you” I mean “I”) can never find matching bathing suit separates, either online or off. Hmph.
You weren’t busy today, right?
Two items of note for your bargain-hunting pleasure, today:
First, thanks to everyone who mailed me in a Woot-induced frenzy to point out that there’s a Woot-Off happening today, because there’s little I like more than spending the day glued to my computer, hoping for that holy grail of fantabulous deals to pop up for pennies on the dollar. Heh. As always, the great deals go quickly, and the crummy deals seem to take forever, but if you have the time and the patience, you may luck out.
Second, it’s time for another Allure Beauty Box! If you’ve never participated in this before, Allure teams up with the Skin Cancer Foundation and all sorts of luxury beauty product manufacturers to offer $200 worth of awesome products for just $40 + tax, and some of the money goes to skin cancer research. A new box is being released in the Allure Virtual Store at noon Eastern time, today.
All together, now: Refresh, refresh, refresh…. [Updated to add: I got mine! Woohoo!]
For Father’s Day, or whatever
It seems like just about every year as Father’s Day draws near, Amazon goes ahead and marks down some television specials that would make great gifts for Dad. This is very handy, because everyone likes a deal, plus sometimes there’s something in it for you.
Like, right now they have Firefly: The Complete Series on Blu-ray for just $28 shipped, which is crazy cheap. If Dad is a sci-fi fan, you’re all set. But the bonus here is—obviously—Nathan Fillion isn’t exactly hard on the eyes, ladies. It’s kind of like a gift for both of you.
Not that you need to mention that part, when you give it to him.
