Deals at Family Christian

I realize this is the sort of deal that isn’t for everyone, so just skip along to the next thing if it’s not for you. But given that it might be of interest to some folks I’m going to go ahead and post it and hope that it doesn’t lead to a discussion of religion. Pretty please. Thank you!

Anyway! Through November 3rd, 2007, there’s two specials to note over at Family Christian: First, that there’s a big $5 bin of kids’ stuff, and second, that there’s also a big bin of books marked down to $7.97.

Right now they’re also featuring $.99 shipping for a limited time.

I’ll mention, too, that Family Christian tends to carry a nice assortment of Willow Tree ornaments (which I luuurve), always at reasonable prices, and often ones that are sold out elsewhere. Santa has been known to put those in our stockings, ’round here….

Another big stock-up sale

As we’ve discussed before, Kohls is one of those sites that always has some sale or other; it’s just a matter of hitting the right sale with the right available coupon codes.

Several of you mailed me yesterday to point out that one of their big 50% off events was going on, and then I checked over and saw that there was a pretty good assortment in the clearance section, too, but I couldn’t find a shipping special, which to me pretty much killed the deal because their regular shipping is outrageous.

But this morning I found that coupon code MVC1563 will give you free shipping on any size order if you use your Kohls card. So there you go. (FYI: You can use two codes per order. There aren’t any other coupons around that I’m allowed to share, but if you were able to find a percent off coupon, you could use both.) Sorry, I’m a dummy… the code is expired. Whoops.

Prices are good through tomorrow (November 1st, 2007). Happy shopping!

Make your baby mental (in a good way)

Dunno how long this one will last, but here you go:

If you’re in the market for a stationary entertainer for a baby, you can’t go wrong with the Fisher-Price Jumperoo (it’s like an Exersaucer, but bouncier). And you really can’t go wrong with $49.99 delivered.

Great reviews, great way to let your little one work out some energy, and as the MasterCard commercials say—not having to lug it home? Priceless!

More shoe pricematching

Before anyone says it, I’m pretending it’s still summer. Shut up. Actually, if you can buy ahead on things like this, you already know that off-season is the way to save the bucks.

These What’s What Women’s Tankerchief Slides will be $14.89 shipped from Endless, but the very same shoes are $55.95 over at Zappos, which means that on a pricematch (remember to make sure both places have the size/color you want) you’ll end up getting them for under $11.

It looks like plenty of colors and sizes are in stock, too.

(Yes, this is what I do for fun.)

Bad at math, good at savings

So I got this email from Classic Closeouts that said Hey, we’re offering free shipping on every order for 48 hours only!

Then it said that the promotion starts today (October 30th), and ends on November 4th.

Math was never my best subject, but that one did leave me scratching my head a bit.

Regardless, use coupon code CJHALLO to ship your entire order there for free, regardless of size, for… well… for two to five days, I guess.
